It's even worse than you think. Once you get 25 units to S+ you unlock Paragon and you suddenly realize that character you thought was max actually has 20% of the needed dups. A ranks need 290 dups S ranks need 38 dups Hypo/Celestial need 34 dups to actually max The climb through Paragon is an overwhelming advantage in many game modes as it provides Rivalry stats in addition to the base stats you've seen up until that point. We're talking a direct boost like +18% done, an extra 18% damage reduction, when taking dmg generate 60% more energy, when doing damage the target generates 60% less energy, debuffs fall off the unit 45% faster, and debuffs inflicted by the unit last 45% longer. It's not completely clear which game modes Rivalry stats apply to but at the very least it's Arena. Maybe Dreamrealm as well? Then the EX weapons like you've stated 1 -> 5 = 150x tidal essence 6 -> 10 = 75x temporal essence 11 -> 15 = 200x temporal essence 16 -> 20 = 125x twilight essence 21 -> 25 = 500x twilight essence To be fair, essence will more than likely gain more sources in the future as even whales have basically zero access to twilight essence currently, so it's clear that this is headroom for game in the future. The miniscule amount of temporal essence even top ranking players get from Dreamrealm is a drop in the bucket though. Getting 4 per day when you need 275 PER CHARACTER is absolutely not going to get anyone upgraded this decade.

The funny thing...my team is a beast, all supreme+, but stage 405 for the season..omfg, vala ruins me....i tried everything and nothing works...so i tried this bullshit composition but with different positions and men....they crush the stage lol, Freaking Unbelievable

It was a good side game until wuwa released but honestly with how money hungry the game is for competetive players (blew 650$ on it and never once made it to top ten in any mode) and it hardly being an AFK game as i was originally baited into thinking i'd say it served its purpose and you should totally switch to and focus on a real game like wuwa, i am. You get your moneys worth and a far more enjoyable experience actually playing than this piece of crap filled with the most obnoxious disgusting people who seem to have made world chat their permanent residence lol

I'm running Alsa, Smokey Dopey, Koko, Odie and Antandra especially in the front, that team carries me a lot trough the AFK Stages. - but great to see that other Composites work aswell 😙

A little advice here, in case no one knew it before. When I see a healer or support hero on the battlefield, I disable the auto ultimate mechanism and once my heroes are ready I focus their attacks on the healers and I prioritize their defeat, that way, I can finally focus on attacking the rest without the constant frustration of seeing them heal.

And now the most important advice for a beginner. if you play for a long time, but you realize that you could play much better, knowing your mistakes and guides - just start playing on the newest server, in the first minutes of its appearance (it happens usually during the daily update). If you manage your time and resources wisely, you will have a great chance to be in the top, in the best guild with the best rewards every day. this will give a huge progress than playing on an old server among whales or more experienced players, where your difference as an abyss will only grow every day. Don't be afraid to start again. even if you have been playing for a month. you will achieve the same result 2-3 times faster if you do everything on time and with understanding.

My diversity is just too big, I don't know how but I am getting from everyone from my wish list evenly, which leavs me with not a single strong hero... People have Thorin, Cecia mythic +, mine are legendary... It's so hard to compate. My only choice is to get Odie at mythic +, but I have bought every single copy from the store and still cannot ascend him, I need to wait for the restart. I have legendary on every single hero in my wish list.

I feel you. For me, its even a little suckier. Cause I literally *just* got my starter story stuff done. Like...a few days ago. Just got done grinding out everything. Maxxing out my levels, my gear. All of it. And here I am, back to level 30 or whatever. I'm legit pretty disgruntled by it. I was really hoping for something that expanded what you were already doing. Instead of just making you do it all over again. If all we can expect every season is a god damn wipe, I'm gonna be so out of here. If I wanted to start over at level ONE, I'd make a new account.

If you played AFK Arena then you should know that, there just getting started! There events are usually huge. We're still in early game.

agree with you, 10% effort will get you 80% of the rewards. i quite enjoy clearing stages so i'm squeezing that last 20% optimization and climbing ranks as people get lazy. its honestly very satisfying to beat stages with 2x my teams power, but that seems to be the limit. after that the proficiency difference is so insane your units die to a stiff breeze and the only way to deal significant damage is true damage and odie executes.

Yep, same, pretty much switched gears to Wuthering Waves too. I do maybe 1 battle per relevant mode for rank maintenance, if that. They really need to figure out their pacing. Anyway, maining Baizhi as early game supp like you recommended, thanks. (Plus, her playstyle looks cool af. No pun intended.)

I agree with the game being pretty dry atm, having to do the grind all over again and almost no incentive being there for people who grind makes it a lot more casual than i had hoped. For now i just log in do my dailies and dream realm and log out. exploring and pushing afk stages is just a hassle at this point

The rewards given in this game can never be enough, especially for f2p players, there is nothing to do other than entertaining the whales. You know that eventually they will go there and kick you again, the 10k diamonds you will get from there will not be enough, even the 100k diamonds will not be enough for you. This is an activity for the whales to keep the place alive. You can have sponsors or earn money from those people, but trying to motivate this way people as if you will achieve something is not admirable. If you and sponsor owners like you want to help f2p players, put more pressure on the game and demand more rewards for f2p players.
