The biblical concept of the “blood” in the OT was based on the Jewish understanding that the life of the creature is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11) and this is because the blood was considered the receipt of death- it was the proof the animal had died and had been slaughtered. Christ, the lamb of God was the fulfillment of the OT word pictures of a bloody sacrifice (Hebrews 9). Jesus did shed his blood, and make atonement with it. And he did so after he died a bloody death. Again, ALL of this is was explained by MacArthur in the full video and all of the verses shown at the end of the video are understood this way in their proper context- which again, it’s obvious you are lacking in your theological understanding. I find it fascinating that instead of addressing or answering any of the legitimate concerns I brought up in my first comment- you jumped to misquoting MacArthur and then attacking me personally. That’s normally what people do when they cant actually address any of the points someone had made. It’s an act of cowardice and unintelligence. Would you like to address any now. The lord rebuke you.
