I own the 68l (blue version) and I totally agree that this piece is a strap monster. I love it with rubber or nato straps matching the color of the bezel.

Highly recommend the Sugess Moonphase master. Not only is it a moonphase but thematically the aventurine dial is super appropriate. The moonphase is a 52 click gear with a small seconds on top. There's a large double date window at 12 oclock with a black date wheels. Blue and black leather straps all for under $200 USD

The Vanuatu stainless was my achieved grail since 2020. Only its weight after a long day and how it holds its heat (body and ambient) we're my only mild concerns. The Ti came my way this year and originally intended to use only the rubber strap but the bracelet gives it a nice balance. Mine stays on its bracelet now. Weirdly, the two watches make a nice combination, IMO.

i've had the steel one for a couple years, got it before you got on a list. back then they announced a release and first come first serve. i initially loved the watch, but i rarely wear it because of the thickness

I can see no way it still doesn't drag if you come down a steep incline like you might find exiting a parking lot in a hilly area because there is so little clearance to the bar that extends. But yes your rack is higher. It also puts more leverage on your hitch which is what decreases the cargo capacity.

I just got my steel Vanuatu a week and a half ago. And now my Vanuatu Ti is on its way. I also ordered blue canvas strap. And I ordered silver bezels for both.

Hey, congrats on the new channel. Helm make such good value pieces, that are absolute tanks. I had the Vanuatu Titanium before, sold it, and I am now at spot 600ish for another one LOL. I think I’ll go with the TS2 bracelet this time as well. I like the engineer bracelet, but the 3 link they make looks fantastic, and only $65USD with watch purchase. Keep up the good work and good luck with the channel!

Nope, not the best dial under 500 bucks. My Seiko Presage SRPG23J1 is way nicer. Dial is the same but white with a yellow tint, giving it a bit more of a vintage feeling, which suits the classic radial pattern. I agree, the crown is the weak spot of the design: crown should meet the case more smoothly and should be a bit smaller.

I was torn between the adventurine dial and the lapis lazuli. I eventually went with lapis, but am keeping an eye out for a non-GMT (thinner) version in adventurine. I absolutely love this watch. The metal band is nice, but it's amazing with a dark brown leather band. I have a quick video of it on if you want to checkout that look.

I went for the lapis lazuli version too but very tempted to get the aventurine as I like the aventurine more LOL reason why I went for lapis was because I bought the Revelot gentus aventurine though not much of a fan of the Roman indices

I’m in the same boat RE the logo/emblem. I want to like the whole watch when I look at it on my wrist. Still, it’s true that this is likely the best $250 watch in the world period.
