This is definitely more fun for intermediate/expert. Panorama (if you’re wanting to explore BC) has more beginner terrain and would probably be a more enjoyable destination for your level.

there are a few green runs though, even ones from the top of Granite and Grey mountains so you wont be stuck at the bottom of the resort. ridge run and rino's ride like green runs and less like cat tracks once you are comfortable with the easy runs from silverlode chair.

Great place to ride but not sure why they named it Pacific Palisades Los Angeles, I mean I really really don't like Los Angeles, there's like rod iron and chain link fences around EVERYTHING possible.

I'll never forget that place got a job mid-mountain restaurant fired a week later clipped tickets and 101 days while everyone at that time were paying 60 to 70 bucks a day was told it was a great yr for snow that town treated me like royalty 94-95 season true story.

Hi! Loved your video. I'm from Australia and currently trying to figure out ski baggage allowance for Southwest airlines. Are skis included in your ticket with no extra cost in a normal ski bag (like the one shown on the conveyor belt) or will I get charged an oversized baggage fee? The website is so confusing!! Thank you

Southwest includes two free checked bags with the ticket at no extra cost with one of the bags being skis. You just have to be within 50lbs weight limit per bag. The website says there is a length limit of 62 inches but most ski bags are longer than that and they don’t charge extra. They usually come out at the oversized bag area at the airports.

I love Brighton but family friendly it's not. Guys smoking weed I t he parking lot and on the slopes. I've seen snowboarders fist fighting each other which I don't see at other resorts. Great resort but when you add substances to egos the "family friendly" goes out the door.

Awesome video, I’ve been doing similar for the past few years. I totally agree about finding that sweet spot between price and fun. I usually splurge for my main resort where I spend a week with ski in/out access, great amenities. The rest of the time it’s really up to best value, (with a hot tub) even some of the fun hostels for quick stays. I find my percentages are similar to yours…except when my daughter comes out for her week…things seem to get nicer, and we need to add ice cream to the budget. 😂
