what about parking? Any issues there? For those of us that have to travel for snow, does Utah posses any greater value than Colorado?
@denigma68rltw Жыл бұрын
It poses a greater value for the following: Shortest distance from a major international airport to ski resorts anywhere in the world. Lodging is much cheaper than Colorado. You can stay in Salt Lake City Area without having to pay typical hotel prices in a ski town. It's the greatest Snow on Earth. Within 1 hr & 15 minutes from the airport you can be at Park City, Deer Valley, Brighton, Solitude, Alta, Snowbird, Snowbasin, & Powder Mountain.

there's a decent amount of parking. they have free and paid parking available, www.snowbird.com/parking/ Utah does get more snow than CO on average so if they are having a great year compared to CO might be worth the drive. Plus there is a variety of terrain to explore

If you like waiting 1-3hrs going uphill (back to SLC is a nightmare), it’s perfect. Personally, Park City has wide open highways that actually get plowed, furthermore you can get a real drink (Snowbird has the worst food, for the record). Big Cottownwood is no better-again Park City, Vail does it right.

Are the ski lifts open? The website says they are all closed?
@snowboardtraveler Жыл бұрын
They close by 4pm MST. Should be running 9-4pm as usual unless the canyon closes for avalanche danger.
