I got some cgeap AliExpress sound deadening. The biggest difference is sound clarity coming from the speakers. The sound is noticeably cleaner

Hey! If you mean down to raw plastic: I have no clue. I remember this was on there like crazy and took a lot of scraping with razor/box cutter blades. Basically I'd recommend removing as much as possible until you're confident your new upholstery won't be affected, look closely and you'll see mine stil have a kind of a fur. Torching any loose "fibers" and a layer of bondo before applying your new upholstery might be helpful(?) Good luck! 🤞

@schtekar I did these mods to my e12 and now it revs to 1800 on startup then bounces between 1200 and 1400 rpm constantly any clue what I should do I can’t drive it with how it is I’m considering going back to stock manifold and throttle body unless I can figure it out, thanks

Sounds alot like your IACV stuck open (very common, I've had it happen 2/3 times when changing TBs). Thoroughly clean it and see if that helps

Hey bro, do a search for "toggle switch guards" or "airplane switch guards" and you'll find them eventually after scrolling past a bunch of plastic garbage 👌 You could also use u-bolts with nuts as stoppers, not as nice but about 10% of the price

This is only one part of the sound deadning, you need to use the slim plates inside the doors, this is for closing all the gaps and holes of the doors. after that the bass would sound better and the car will be a little bit more quite. but for real imrpvemant you need to cover the roof and floor too and it's costly even with cheap sound deadning products.

Hey, I did all the mods you have and I constantly have check engine pop up with P0103 code with high circuit input.. First I only could route the maf backwards (with the scrap pipe I had laying around) because the short wire but now it's routed the intake pipe and the maf sensor exactly like you did and still... The car runs just fine no hiccups. Cleaned the sensor but nothing. Thinking of getting a new maf maybe mine is faulty

Probably buy a new maf. Did you do the intake manifold, throttle body and injectors ? Did you notice any power gains ? Did you buy it from a mr2 or avensis ? Does it need adjustments ? Thanks in advance

@@aleksandermeci3385 Yes, intake, throttle body, injectors, open air filter. I think I got it from a 1zz celica. Theres a noticeable difference yes. I only needed a longer water hose that goes to the throttle body

Yes. You need to relocate o2 sensor at the point where all 4 cylinders attach to 1.

Hei, ja og nei. Mr2 deler passet bolt on på min SB1 vin Corolla. Celica gasspjeld vet jeg må modifiseres noe (kabel til gasspjeld kommer fra en annen vinkel) og det er mulig Rav4 etc. har lignende designforskjeller. Utenom dette har jeg ikke hørt om forskjeller
