Those are sick door carts, I would do that too my car, it just brings up the qulity more by the looks, more luxury, I would also recommend doing the plastic door handle rapped in leather or somthing.

Greetings, How did you get the old adhesive off? I can't get it off - no matter whether I use sandpaper, water with a brush or a wire brush. How did you do it?

Hey! If you mean down to raw plastic: I have no clue. I remember this was on there like crazy and took a lot of scraping with razor/box cutter blades. Basically I'd recommend removing as much as possible until you're confident your new upholstery won't be affected, look closely and you'll see mine stil have a kind of a fur. Torching any loose "fibers" and a layer of bondo before applying your new upholstery might be helpful(?) Good luck! 🤞

Hey! It's called upholstery foam, I believe this one was 1/2" or 10 mm thick. I've also seen it called "hobby foam" in some hobby stores
