I came here looking for foods that stay down and doesnt give me sulphur burps . Anything that resembles bread is a no for me and I throw it up. beef and eggs seems ok but only 5 bites at a tume. But the fruits snd veggies are hit and miss- I can eat about 1/2 a cutie orange and aople with yogurt does ok. . Dairy - I can eat cheese sticks but mikk nakes me instantly vomit. Protein drinks have been my staple -I want to minimize losing muscle mass but they sometimes get iffy. Ginger root capsules are my best friend. Anyone else have foods to try? Im almost scared to eat because I know I'm going to regret it. Im 6 weeks in and the fatigue and stomach cramps are no joke.

4 doses of 0.25mg for the first month. Second month goes up to 0.5mg which is 2 of the small capsule. The last one which is the 3rd week starts with 1mg in that case you only have 1 dose out of the last capsule. Am I right or?

Alcoholic drinks such as beer and sweetened mixed drinks are high in carbohydrates, which can raise blood sugar levels. Alcohol has a lot of calories, which can lead to weight gain. This makes it harder to manage diabetes.

@PharmacistOnline
@PharmacistOnline 13 күн бұрын
I think you have a 0.5mg pen, so there is no need to calculate. Only rotate up to 0.5mg and take the shot if your dose is 0.5mg. For clarification, visit any nearby pharmacy and confirm your pen from the pharmacist.

I went from constipation to diarrhea so bad that I go pure water 40-60 times a day. Pretty sure Ozempic causes weight loss by making you Anorexic or Bulimic. I have been on ozempic for 6 months and this just started. My doctors response, "It's normal for that drug."

I have been on Ozempic for 6 months and out of nowhere the nausea and EXTREME diarrhea hits. Like going 40-60 times a day and nothing but water, about to wear a diaper. Doctor seems to think it is normal and tells me to do stuff I already do. Pretty sure he could hear me rolling my eyes over the phone. They do not give out anti nausea medication anymore cause it can cause heart issues. Dang Zophran been out for years and all of a sudden they are afraid of it. Right now I take shot Monday morning and I am sick until Wednesday evening. My life has stopped but my blood sugar is good. Is it worth it? I am not so sure any longer.

Thank you for your comment, and I appreciate your engagement with the video. Let me provide a detailed explanation on how Metformin works and why the response to this medication can vary greatly among individuals. How Metformin Works: Metformin is a medication primarily used to manage type 2 diabetes. It helps control blood sugar levels by: 1. **Decreasing Glucose Production**: It reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver. 2. **Increasing Insulin Sensitivity**: It improves the sensitivity of muscle cells to insulin, allowing them to absorb more glucose from the bloodstream. 3. **Reducing Glucose Absorption**: It slightly decreases the absorption of glucose from the intestines. Individual Drug Response: The response to Metformin can vary due to several factors: 1. **Genetics**: Individual genetic makeup can affect how well the body responds to Metformin. 2. **Dosage**: The effectiveness can depend on the dose prescribed by the healthcare provider. 3. **Medical History**: Other underlying health conditions can influence how the drug works. 4. **Adherence**: Consistency in taking the medication as prescribed is crucial. Weight Loss and Lifestyle Factors: While Metformin can aid in weight loss for some individuals, it is not a standalone solution. The process involves: 1. **Lifestyle Changes**: Incorporating a balanced diet and regular exercise significantly influences weight loss outcomes. 2. **Diet**: Healthy eating habits can enhance the effectiveness of Metformin in promoting weight loss. 3. **Exercise**: Regular physical activity helps in burning calories and improving overall metabolism. Summary: In essence, there isn't a single definitive answer to how long it takes to lose weight with Metformin because it depends on a combination of the body's response to the drug, lifestyle changes, and diet. Some individuals may see results in a few weeks, while for others, it might take several months. It’s important to have realistic expectations and to work closely with a healthcare provider to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plan. I hope this explanation clarifies your concerns. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!

I watched this video because I wanted to know the most usual / frequent /common / optimum dose of Mounjaro that patients end up on. Because that's the promise of the video's title. I knew that I would not get an answer. And I didn't! That's why I gave a downvote. I really should have learned to avoid watching Text to voice AI videos by now. But at least I have had the satisfaction of venting in the comments. Byeee!

@@PharmacistOnline Thank you. Now is your chance to get me to reverse my downvote. What is the most usual / frequent /common / optimum dose of Mounjaro that patients end up on? - Let's say for men. Yes I know there will be a range, but what is the peak in that range?
@PharmacistOnline
@PharmacistOnline 28 күн бұрын
@spamcrud5639 Here’s the info you’re looking for: The dosing of Mounjaro is individualized and based on the patient's response and tolerability. However, there is a standard titration schedule that patients typically follow: Starting Dose: 2.5 mg once weekly for the first 4 weeks. Increasing Dose: After 4 weeks, the dose is increased to 5 mg once weekly. Further Dose Increases: If additional glycemic control is needed, the dose can be increased in 2.5 mg increments after at least 4 weeks on the current dose. The optimum dose that many patients end up on is often between 5 mg and 10 mg once weekly. In clinical practice, 10 mg once weekly is frequently seen as an effective dose that balances efficacy and tolerability for many patients. Peak Dose: While doses can go up to 15 mg once weekly, the 10 mg dose is often considered a common and effective maintenance dose for many men and women, providing a good balance between achieving desired blood sugar control and minimizing potential side effects. Hope this helps!

Everyone responds differently to medications because of factors like genetics, other medications you might be taking, underlying health conditions, and even lifestyle choices like diet and exercise. That's why it's super important to consult with your doctor. They can monitor how you respond to the medication, adjust the dose if needed, and ensure it works well without causing bad side effects. Always follow their advice for the best results! Hope this helps!
