I came to this vid because of some bs that just happened in an online match and needed somewhere to complain. So im up against a +4 special attack raichu after one of my counters was paralyzed by a nuzzle, no biggie i got backup. So after getting it to 1 hp (the raichu had a focus sash) after surving a hit from raichu due to my shadow shield i send in mimikyu who will tank any hit cuz of disguise, and then this stupid rodent uses nuzzle and gets the full para and sweeps my team because of some bs that meant my only means to counterplay was just gone.

It's extra funny because of how nice Cynthia is in-game. People are out making PTSD videos, meanwhile Cynthia's pre-match dialogue is like "oh hi there, have you been keeping well?" The only thing she doesn't do is offer you tea.

Every other champion or character in the cannon pokemon games can be beaten with generally whatever with no strat but Cynthia is the only one that requires you to actual use ur brain and bring a good counter to win which is why she is the best in all of pokemon

The thing that makes this fight even harder is that you can't use ANY of the box art legendaries (not even Giratina), because Garchomp has super seffective moves on all of them, basically making this both the most fair and unfair fights at the same time (you can't use box art legends which is making the fight fair for Cynthia, but Cynthia has, well, pokemon)

Cynthia is not that scary tbh. Her theme is great, and she has umbreon ear shaped things on her head. Her team is just well rounded. Shes no worse than the rest of sinnoh, its a cruel place, I couldnt beat diamond for like (7?) years. Got lost even with level 100s and didnt know how to continue cuz i didnt know where I even was in the first place. Plus no escape ropes. And no dig. But i eventually figured it out and beat cynthia, 2nd try.
