My passenger side mirror slides out by itself at highway speeds, it does this gradually. During a two hour drive it slides out maybe 2 inches at 65-70 mph. Is there a way a tightening the tension? I saw tension clips in this video wasnt sure if you had any advice. 🍻

Thanks for this video. I did the same today with my kart. I used 6" wide wheels, but the same tires. Went on super easy. My kart has so much ground clearance now! It's a blast to drive off road.

If your still doing videos how do you think fixing it to extend further on purpose would last?

As it turns out, the strap stretched a quarter inch or so (6mm). It's less stable when extended further so wouldn't take many knocks but it does work

@MackenzieGodwin I got some for my ram I may modify them to be more stable then fully extended as such. Maybe machine some metal pieces on the inside

We just fired this lift up today for the first time in 4 years! Haven't changed a thing. It hauls me (200lbs) and my 2 year old (35lbs), with all 4 skis on the ground. It's a bit tiring to hold on with one hand to support her at the same time. Once the kids are older I will likely build something bigger and stronger. Likely more permanent as well.

Great video very informative did you put your tonneau cover on first then the back rack afterwards and on the brackets there is a lip on each one does it face inside the box so it's flushed looking like yours on the outside. Hopefully my install will go well yours looks great. 👍

Rack and siderails have to go on before the tonneau cover. The siderails are partially between the tonneau tracks and sides of the truck box.

Amazing. One brief idea might be to put a small roof over with a light under the small roof. For various reasons to help with the safety of it in undesirable weather. Or for others that might want to build one
