I had to make a decision to shut down a store i just spent weeks making because deep down I knew that dropshipping was not worth it with the lackluster products and complete lack of control with the supply chain and logistics. I'm now building my own cosmetic brand with a pretty good USP and product market fit. Fingers crossed 🤞 thanks for the vids man

If the listicle was top 5 mouth tapes to cure snoring, then it would be more BOF. While I think the headline is fairly BOF, I think the name hostage tape instils curiosity which helps it work at solution aware.

Yea, write ad copy and creative that targets the level of consumer awareness you are going after. Meta will pickup on the signals and feed it to the right audience pretty quickly :)

This is basically a funnel. Funnels might have higher conversion rates but only work with problem solving products and they usually worsen the brand image, which isn’t a problem for brands like hostage tape, but it would never work for luxury brands (which I work with :))

A funnel is just sequencing of messaging. Content like this only hurts brand image if you aggressively use slimy direct response tactics like false scarcity. Selling luxury and clothing is going to lean more on social proof and leaning into status. I agree though that this won’t likely work for most of these brands unless you are leaning into a cause or use some kind of unique material.
