About the deo, You can cut a piece and melt it down and pour it in an old lip balm stick and that way you get your own mini deo. Thanks great packing vid 💖💖💖

Thank you for your kind comment. To be completely honest I’m not sure if I will come back. There are so many wonderful people on this platform. But there is also a lot of nasty negativity that I found to be pretty exhausting. My channel is small and I still would get some pretty ruthless comments. I just didn’t see that getting any better as it grew. Thank you again for your kindness and support. I’m not saying never, just not right now. Hope you’re doing well and have a beautiful holiday season. ❤️ Marissa

Thank you ❤️. Gift guides were some of my favorites to make. Full transparency I was really struggling with the negative side of putting yourself on the internet. There are so many lovely people, but with the good also came the bad. Nasty comments wore on me and it is hard to imagine it improving as the channel grew. I may come back in the future, but don’t have plans to do so currently. Thank you again for your kindness and support. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season. ❤️ Marissa

You might like the Sephora brand LipStories in Oui 03. It’s marketed as a lipstick but it’s a great combo of moisturizing balm and sheer creamy colour. I’ve used those Sugar balm’s from Fresh and it’s really similar in moisturizing. That shade Oui is almost exactly the same as your lip liner by Charlotte T in Pillow Talk. I prefer Oui over the Pillow Talk lipstick for moisture and a slightly more cool pink than PT which can go a bit orange on me. I wish Charlotte had stuck with the exact shade as the lip liner which doesn’t skew orange as the PT lipstick can do. It’s 30% off on the sale and here in Canada 🇨🇦 it’s under 10$ - much cheaper yet in the USA 🇺🇸. I just followed your link to your makeup collection and you use a lot of the same stuff as I do. Wonderful choices.

Thank you for the recommendation. I would love to find a less expensive alternative to the pillow talk and the Fresh products. My skin tone looks much better with cooler tones. The CT tends to pull warm on me, too.

Just followed your link from today’s KZbin on the Sephora sale. Loved this too. Your philosophy on makeup is very similar- find what works and stick to it. I’m very similar in colouring. You might like the Sephora Collection Lipstories lipstick in the shade 03 Oui. It’s another lip balmy type lipstick in the same shade as your CT Pillow Talk lipliner which is my favourite too. It’s on sale 30% off - here in Canada 🇨🇦 it’s $13 regular and $9.10 on sale. It’s much cheaper in America 🇺🇸. One of the best lip products I’ve ever used and like the fresh lip balms in moisturizing.

Oh dear goodness you’re so like me. I paused and wrote about the cleanser and now you are talking about 2 other essentials in my kit - UDNaked Basics 2 and Volume Blast. 😂 love it!!!! You’re so right! PS I’m a 66 year old Nana of 5 granddaughters ages 4-13. I’m a long time SPF user and I am really grateful to past me for that habit. It started to really become obvious in my 40s when my age mates started to age faster. Before that it wasn’t as obvious. Now at 66 it’s really obvious the difference sunscreen makes.

❤👍 oddly enough (Clinique d/c their cleansing balm) I am in search of a new cleansing balm- and this oat one is on my short list to replace it along with the Sephora brand one. @homemakingwithmarissa Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your sweet comment Dona! It took me years to downsize my makeup. It has historically been an area I was unwilling to minimize. In recent years I’ve really locked in the items I love (my current standard) and quit purchasing items I just like. Maybe in a future video I can share my skincare items; though it would not be considered minimal for many, so would likely need to just share in a standard video not associated with minimalism.

Good job. You packed things that were not NEEDED for 4days, or could've been put into smaller containers. Curious tho- dry shampoo and liquid shampoo, did you need both? So many sunscreens? Contact case holder added bulk, but is cute n convenient with the mirror. If you check after your trip, think on how many things you actually used in those 4days. I do applaud you on your first try, you made it all fit, and thats what counts. Happy travels!!

I could have consolidated for sure! I did use the dry shampoo and liquid. I burn really easily, so sunscreen is always over the top for me 😆. When I got to the rental they had a washer and dryer that I wasn’t aware of prior to the trip. Had I known I would have packed far fewer clothes!
