I grew up on the old 2k 2k16-2020 I stopped playing 2k after 2k22 picked up 2k24 when it was free on PlayStation and got sucked into Myteam but man that mode sucked. I quit completely now playing other games so much more happiness now

They just need to remove the series cards from non series packs. Like aura packs should only have aura player cards. That's why we all get screwed from packs.

They should release full season packs with a chance to get any player within a season that you missed, that should break the auction house back to normal if were being honest most cards are overpriced for the chance at a collection reward hidden gems.

mlb the show is getting so many complaints about the myteam mode this year but its purely from bland and boring content, a program then pack drop, no creativity , that aside i have legit any player i could ever want, not a single dime spent, ive accumulated over 600k stubs from grinding, my best squad uses like 2 players from the market, every other card is grindable/free, to the point where i have so many stubs with nothin to use them on other than collections and packs, AND THATS FINE, because i can get essentially anyone i want regardless and thats how it should be, yes some of the more popular cards are in packs but theyre still easily attainable if you want them bad enough, the only form of gambling i do is cause im bored and have nothin else to buy with my currency

There is zero question in my mind that this is corporate greed. NOT the developers. Game developers do NOT make decisions like these. I'm guessing the company was taken over by greedy venture capitalists in 2K23, and the exec's of the company have had non-stop meetings about how to squeeze the average player out of as much $$ as possible. This is why monopolies (which 2K has now over any decent basketball video game) leads to outcomes like this.
