I just picked up my new Z3100 with the Gen Y gooseball hitch on New Years Eve! Wow what an incredible ride after trading in my TT. Yeah I’m getting used to the heavier weight on the 5th wheel, but what an absolute amazing towing experience already! Can’t wait for the open road when I take her to Indianapolis for the 500 in May from NorCal!

Would you add this to an 8ft box or only the short box?

On a side note -Who ever thinks products that get ball further away from centre line of rear axle is intelligent needs a good upper cut, stick to some actual clever practices that actually make towing safer before trying to reinvent the wheel with trick gizmos, numer one priority after correct towing mass calculations and towball weights is getting tow ball as close to rear axle centreline as possible reducing not only the seesaw effect of weight transfer off steer wheels onto drive axle but also reducing sway steer from having excessive long tow coupling configuration, a self locking coupling wont mean diiddly if your off the road or upside down from out of control tralier sway

No way that truck is suited for that G series Brinkley.

Interesting results. The EZ Flex + Sumo Springs (Configuration F) seems to do as good and sometimes better than the GenY + Sumo Springs (configuration I). In fact, the EZ flex on its own (configuration E) compares remarkably close to the GenY + Sumo Springs (configuration I) considering the dramatic difference in cost between configurations I and E. I'm curious to know how the new Curt Helux pinbox would compare. Also equally interesting is the data indicating that an "Abrupt Shock" (rail road in the test) has a similar result for all configurations tested. Regardless, it's important to note that the test unit is still getting thrown and shaken around in the sample video clips even with the Brinkley preferred GenY + Sumo Springs (configuration I) setup. That leaf spring setup can only do so much dampening for the body of the camper itself. I wonder why one of these luxury brands haven't moved to a walking beam (+ independent/torsion) suspension. Some things just don't change, I suppose.
