The good thing is that Netherrealm doesn’t tend to make their DLC characters better than the base characters. There are usually a few weaker DLCs, a few mid ones, and a couple broken ones. But this also holds true for the base characters as well. For example, in MK1 Johnny and Kenshi have been broken since the beta, while DLC characters like Quan Chi and Omniman are lower tier. Of course Homelander is broken but he’s really the only DLC that I would say is completely broken.

@ I said “lower” tier. As in bottom half. Every character in this game has some sauce but he does not have as easy of a time as the upper teir characters like Johnny, Homelander, etc. The DLCs aren’t all broken like the phrase “pay-to-win” implies.

Besides joker all of mk11s guest characters feel tame af compared to mk9, x, and 1😭 really tells you how watered down mk11 was as a game

Mk9 Kratos, and Freddy Kruger. Mkx Jason, Predator, Alien, Leatherface Mk11 spawn, Rambo, joker, robo cop , Terminator STOP IT. SPAWN, JOKER, AND TERMINATOR CLEARS MK9 EASILY.

@ I meant gameplay wise brother. IMO spawn is easily the coolest dlc character they’ve ever had. But gameplay wise he wasn’t a broken character. Didn’t think I had to clarify what I meant lol. Another example would be rambo, he was one of the worst characters in the game, while peacemaker was literally all over evo and home lander was top 3 lol. Alien was the most broken character nrs ever created, and Freddy was probably the best zoner in nrs history. Gameplay and strength wise the guest dlcs in every other game are so much more broken then mk11s with the exception of the joker

Omni man is cool and I main him, but he needs a slight buff to his frames because almost everything he does is punishable and he can't really open people up without lao or jax (even then if your opponent knows how to block there's nothing you can really do). I really wished they made f2 faster and a splat and/or give him a command grab.

I’ve been saying for months that Havik is top tier because he has the best toolkit in the game, a move for every single scenario with insane pressure & setups; He has the best normal in the game (Superman Punch), plus on almost everything, low & overhead mixups leading to hard knockdown/oki & combos, he has a overhead command grab mid string catching you blocking low, a roll catch command grab that leads to GUARANTEE reset, 3 hit are or wake up that can take 25% life in 1 hit that staggers you for full combo, 3 insane zoning tools 1; Zig zags covering the entire screen 2 Lets him advance to you that he can spam 3 A homing projectile that first circles him giving him a protective shield then teleports behind screen and homes in on the opponent circling them then hits, and lastly hes so hard to read every pro struggles against a good Havik; People think he’s trash because he’s a setup / toolkit character, not a traditional poke/combo character so people dont know how to play him. I was warning if he’s given combo extension its game over, because yeah he might need 5-6 combos to kill but it’s so easy for him touch you & start those combos so if you make it where he can kill you in 2-3? It’s over; Now look, everyone is saying he’s OP. Thats what they get for sleeping on him & following YT Tier lists as the truth lol

It only uses meter if you cancel it from a grounded normal. When it’s done in a combo or airborne after a hit, you get a free one on the house before it’ll cost a meter for the additional air dashes
