Howard was great in 2014. 2010? Not so much. Beat from distance. Beat on near post. Look at Slovenia and where USA goals came from and where SLV goals came from. SLV scoring from outside the box while USA has to get to the six yard line. Look at first goal by Ghana. It happens. Still always he gave his all. I love the man.

In 2010 he did for the match against England, where he was Man of the Match at that game. However in other games he was average; in the game against Ghana he made only one impressive save while his adversary, Richard Kingson, made a lot more impressive saves and kept Ghana in the match.

I was stationed in Germany during this time, the Germans are die hard fans for this sport and it was pretty cool to see this in real time, they shut down streets to have a watch party. It was pretty dope tbh
