I'm super eager to try and adapt this re-design in a cosplay-esque sorta prop using a 3D printer; if it's not too much trouble (I'm not 100% sure of what happens to the high poly model after the fact), is it possible to also provide a download for the high poly model? I'll credit u if I ever do end up posting the final product on any platforms :D

Dang! That sounds really cool but the hard-drive I had in this video has since corrupted 😔. If I ever end up recovering it I’ll be sure to send the high poly one your way though!

Love your sculpting. But dude. You got the shark teeth so wrong. Shark teeth are not rooted into the jaws. And they arent in one neat row like that. New ones grow inside the mouth and slowly fold out as the front ones are lost.

first, honk mother calls to you second, one you didn't mention is the mat, which is a great collection of cells that move along the ocean floor. Like jelly fish it has stingers but the thing is basically a man of war that just trundles along. It communicates through "singing" and can reach hundreds of feet tall. It is suggested to be the ancient ancestor to all multicellular life on earth. the deep sea thread will help you find it.

I think on the shark, adding more layers of teeth, like 2 or 3, like sharks have, would have made it better to the mouth... But I'm just being petty, it looks s cool

A small critique: In universe, The Old Birds were purposefully manufactured in such a way that no one can tell where exactly they came from. Adding detailing like a barcode and logos would be counterproductive in universe. My pretentious know-it-all critique aside, this is still an amazing model.

They kinda look like what happened to the underwater creatures of the Fallout world. Fallout: Submersed The Deathjaw - The absolute apex of the sea, capable of slicing unsuspecting leviathan creatures into tiny chunks to devour them, whereas smaller creatures are devoured whole. The Radshell - A leviathan class entity, which radiation has boiled it to death, then reanimated it. Capable of crushing entire Cruise Liners with a single snap of its claw, these creatures are to be feared as if they are an apex. If you spot either of these creatures in open waters, swim away as fast as possible. If you're spotted by them in open waters, surrender, as you're already dead...

This model is extremely cool! the only thing i would say would fit a better design for the claw would be to make it work by hydraulics for another way to make it look more Industrial, especially since you're unable to escape being grabbed if you're caught by an old bird
