I have a Peruvian mother and an American father and I always considered myself American. I was hugely proud of my American heritage and only recently learned that I am 16% Native American due to my mother's Peruvian roots. But growing up in the 60s and 70s, you should know that all Hispanics classified themselves as white and were considered white. But then again, they were a rarity in this country. I should mention that my mother specifically came to this country to marry an American man and live the American dream.

You should use Google translate to talk to people like the golfers next time! It is sooo helpful & easy to use! The other people usually have it on their phone too & you can talk back and forth! Can even record the voices & it will translate! You can also take a photo of the menu & it will translate it (I know EU mostly does English underneath but something for the future!)

Highly organized, no junk drawer. I have a small basket that i keep similar things as you have in your desk drawer and for whatever reason I find it a better method for me. Once it’s kinda full ish I organize it. But if I need batteries, charger, tape, scissors, a needle & thread , all those things I just grab down the basket and get what I need and put it back. I feel like desk drawers are thin and only designed for papers and books etc. 😊

I'm a slow traveler/full-time digital nomad, so I stay in places for longer periods, but I'm definitely slow morning and then get up and get out to see EVERYTHING. I will walk until my legs feel like they are going to fall off and love taking trains now. I've been in Buenos Aires for almost 6 months and I totally agree that there are so many affordable ways to travel. Love the South of France and all the colorful buildings. Obsessed with the dress you wore in Monte Carlo. You both got stunning tans!
