I kinda hate this doesn't have more comments 😮.. He is definitely one of the most interesting out there sharing his art with the world..

Симкина увидела в Фейс- буке и запомнился... Уникальный он и аристократичный. В танце точный и лёгкий. Талантливый -- это бесспорно.

Team Gaynor here. GM is almost necessarily going to last you much much longer than any traditional shoes. GM is the most affordable shoe, in my opinion, because of how ridiculously long-lasting they are. The price is well worth it considering how much your flexible feet are likely to kill traditional shoes super fast.

Thanks so much for sharing your opinion! It's really helpful for me to hear! And thank you for taking the time to watch. It means so much!

@@haleyhilton9528 You are welcome! GM looks gorgeous on you, especially with how it beautifully curves on your heels as opposed to any sudden and unnatural wrinkle of the fabric. Hope you will enjoy your new shoes and new dancing life! Your vids are very inspiring ;)

Thank you for the blog write-up as well! I just got back into pointe after about 10 years off and went through a couple of different brands / models (Wear Moi, Virtisse) before settling on a pair of Gaynors. I think what helped was that 3+ box because I'm not truly a tapered box but not truly a totally wide box either.
@haleyhilton95282 жыл бұрын
Of course! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I can totally see the 3+ box being helpful! So glad you found something that works for you! And yay for a return to pointe shoes!

After watching and listening to you xxxoxoxox, I'm inspired to actually create my YT channel that I've sorta started filming at the studio I teach at. I loved the KISS ME KATE song!!!! (My mom was in the Detroit Civic Light Opera Company in the late 40s, early 50s.)Thanks for the awesome memories! YOU ARE GREAT! Mickie G from Michigan

Do it! I love making KZbin videos. It's such a fun outlet! Isn't that Kiss Me Kate song so fun? That is so cool that your mom was able to be part of the show back in the day! Thank you for taking the time to comment and be so kind!

YOU CAN DO IT!!! Please try to stay positive and know we dancers are all feeling disappointment, sadness, and "left out" from doing what we love- DANCING! Note: I just was granted the opportunity to get back into teaching dance after 25 years of a completely different profession. I AM SO HAPPY! ALSO, the first thing I did after buying new tights, leotards, shoes/slippers, ballet skirts.... was to SUBSCRIBE TO DANCE MAGAZINE. Thank you so much for being here for us dancers! xxxoxoxox LOVE YOU!! I'm praying for your health, Haley! You go girl. Just try to remember how important your editing the magazine is to us. Was it Jilliana who told you that quote or Megan from salt lake dance. cause I remember both of them saying the same thing to me which is one of the reasons why after having a kid I feel like it will be impossible for me to to dance again

I know you probably don't remember me but we danced together when you were at salt lake dance and you were one of my idols and makes me happy to see you dance again and you still inspire me even though we are both grown now and over 1000 miles apart

Sadly, I know nothing about ballet but YT’s algorithm recommended this video to me. Mr. Simkin makes a compelling interview subject. As he was describing his contemporary piece (which, I presume, is no longer around since this interview is now 4 years old), I started wondering what would happen if Mr. Simkin went to a Blue Man Group performance. I consider their performances to be “trippy” like Mr. Simkin was aiming to achieve. Then, I started imagining him collaborating with Blue Man Group and wondering what BMG might do with classical ballet artists. This became a fun “thought experiment.”

Is she perfect? Maybe perfect for ballet! She’s not that tall, but because of her body’s proportions, gorgeous lines, & beautiful extensions, she looks long & lean. Her work-ethic is incredible & every man who has danced with her, raves about her dancing & partner work.
