In Dance Magazine's "Begin Again" column and vlog series, editor Haley Hilton will be chronicling her experience as she works toward her lifelong goal of dancing professionally after 9 years of dealing with chronic illness.
Each month, she will document a different hurdle within the industry that she's facing, and show how she's working to overcome it through the advice of experts, as well as some helpful Dance Media articles.
"Last year I wrote about what it’s like to audition without the support of an agent. Today, I’m grateful to instead share a glimpse of what it looks like to audition with my team behind me, and to share my agent Lucille DiCampli’s advice on what dancers can do to best support their agents," says Haley Hilton (@HaleyHilt) in part 17 of our #BeginAgain series.
If you've ever wondered what the best practices are for starting and building a relationship with an agent, head over to the link in our bio to see what Hilton's life looks like with representation and get top tips from DiCampli of @LDCArtistRepresentation.
