can you compare a zeiss photofusion extra combined with drive safe lense versus xtractive transitions, please? I am very confused by these lenses! Please, what are your recommendations. In my locality, zeiss lenses are more accessible( but not available to test ! ) I'm not sure about which lens is best for me, and unfortunately, all are expensive! My main concern is driving( days and nights), but I want a lens for every other activity, like bright indoor situations and for displays.

First person on youtube who actually understands how to demonstrate and what to demonstrate, good job. Only thing to add would be car and how fast they change but thats pretty much what the rest of videos show.

Hands free is very valuable at times. Also having speakers and microphone with me at all times without even having to think about it, or having to take stuff out of my pockets, put in or on my ears or grab my phone is just so convenient. Amazing tech. I'd prefer it if the caramel ones weren't see through, or perhaps more more like tortoise, making it harder to see the tech, but still there if someone really looked.

Thank you so much for this video. Eyeglass stores never had samples of the actual lenses, so that I can see how dark they get in the sun. It seems that the Xtractive get very dark outside. And then it takes them a good 6 minutes to go back to clear. They work in the car, but are not polarized. The polarized work outside but not in the car. It seems like none of these are the perfect option. Drivewear is both photochromic and polarized, but it only comes in brown, which I don't like. I've been without proper glasses for over a decade cause I just can't find the perfect solution for driving. I need lenses that are medium tinted and polarized while driving. But those don't turn clear. I guess I have to carry two pairs of glasses with me and use a yellow clip-on lens for driving at night, since car headlights are now so bright, they're completely blinding. It's like everyone is driving with their high beams on. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

So a clear cr-39 lens transmits the same amount of light as a clear polycarbonate (90%)? I was just about to ask that question 🙂👍 Also, gen S don't seem to get darker than gen 8 according to this test (6%). Is it possible that gen 8 with cr-39 get darker than gen 8 with polycarbonate?

Have you ever had to remove a stuck polish wheel on a essilor edger(mr orange), I can get the roughing and bevel stone to turn freely with locking nut removed but not the polish wheel. A professional repair tech said there is a way using a crescent and a rubber mallet? any help would be very greatly appreciated, thanks
