Non-traditional approaches are by far what's working the best! Take Bumble's initiative as an example during King's Day in Amsterdam. They positioned a public toilet for females with Bumble's logo. Such a good ad!

How would this apply to an industry (telecommunications) where there isn't a large repeat customer, because once they sign up for the product they are under a contract for a year. The do have additional things they can purchase later on, or add new additional services as they are developed.

Hi @SripathiRamadurai, thank you for your question; you can test ads across most platforms or mediums(SEM, social, display, programmatic etc.) so long as you have access to a robust variety and volume of performance data and understand the limitations, biases and veracity of the data you are measuring.

Great reality check on the vision for starting an experimentation programme v.s. the reality: the board not understanding the concept of lots of small wins and thinking that all of these small numbers are trivial. Followed by "I don't want any more developers working in marketing" from your CTO. Arghhh. Great video and practical tips to overcome these, it takes time and commitment in my experience.
