I’m 71 and in my 20s through my 30s I partied seemingly every night, always danced in my high heels, during the finest decades, the 1960s - 1970s, in music. When the Gap Band came on in the clubs, the dance floor was packed and we all were just having so much fun! Great reaction and the satin cowboy outfits are fine for me but just wish Charlie would have not worn the hat, especially tied under his chin😏

I turned everyone in my dorm on to Joan A. When I first heard Tracy Chapmen, I was walking thru the common area and she was on MTV. Stopped me in my tracks. (Fast Car) I was so moved. I don’t know what it is in me that needs to hear them, but I do. They make me feel like I matter -- like my feelings are valid

Armatrading's work is so wonderfully diverse. You might want to check out her "Opportunity (world wide adventure)" track.

Tracy Chapman. Armatrading-lite. Don’t begrudge Chapmans success but JA never got the credit for being the originator of her sound. Glad you picked up on the similarities.

Nah homie, you're doing this the right way, i started out as a kid and this was the only album they had. I went through the decades awaiting each album. You're doing it the right way

Please check out Tommy Johansson She's Gone. Song originally by Steelheart. Tommy is lead guitarist for Sabaton . He has his own KZbin channel and does a new cover every Friday. Tommy's vocal range and the number of instruments he plays is insane. You'll love his music

You should watch the making of One Vision... it's really interesting to see them working... also Roger calls Freddie a "rotter" which is pretty humorous!

There's another longer version where you're able to see them work out the music and words. Very interesting.

The original bassist is Brian Marshall. The original group members are Scott Stapp, Brian Marshall, Scott Phillips and Mark Tremonti. The bassist did leave the group and substitute bassist were brought into the group. Mark, Flip and Brian formed Alter Bridge with Myles Kennedy. Scott Stapp and Mark have also had successful solo careers. CREED (all of the originals) has reunited and are doing 2 cruise music festivals in April 2024 called Summer of ‘99 and a North American tour. I will be on the first cruise in April and will be meeting the band. (I am beyond excited!!). For Christmas I asked my kids for tickets to their show July 26th in Gainesville, VA. I have seen them 5 times and taken both of my children to see them as well. I never understood all the hate towards Creed but there are new fans that have found them and love them. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for doing this reaction for me. I am down for any other Creed reactions you do - My Own Prison, Bullets, Rain. Full Circle, What If, One, My Sacrifice, Torn. Also, Mark Tremonti is a beast!!

Great pick Cathy. Love this band and I’m not a big fan of a lot of music from that time period. Mark Tremonti’s guitar playing always made me take notice. A very good musician. You’re thinking of the band Alter Bridge that was formed with Myles Kennedy, minus Scott. Good news! Creed reunited again this past summer and I think they are planning a tour. They do give you that feeling, don’t they? 😊
