I think the first time I heard this was when I bought the album in 1987. I was already a Whitesnake fan so this was an automatic buy when it hit the record stores. Those creamy, harmonized guitar tones from John Sykes really compliment Tawny's moves. Great stuff all around. This album was easily one of the best from the 80's and it's still one of the best all time.

Always nice to watch this video. Read about her passing today. She was an iconic beautiful woman. I have a question about the video though, who’s hair was nicer, hers or David Coverdale’s? I think it’s a toss up. Thanks for playing this and paying respects.

Great rock bands have an amazing track record of hitting it big when they show a smidgen of restraint. I guess you can call them "power ballads", but to me they are "just" ballads that would be just as powerful on an acoustic 12-string as they are turned up to 11.

I remember when this album came out it was so much better than their previous album. I was in Frankfurt West Germany at the time it was 1987. We didn't know what music was coming out so we would have to go to the record store and guess what was popular and take our chances on the albums. However, white snakes album previous to this is called slide it in and their title track is sighted in. You should check their older stuff out, too.

I never cared for this song or this band in general, but I do respect your choice, so I watched it out of respect for Tawny. It was an iconic video and song for its time, and she did play an important part in it.
