Thank you so very much! Vinyl does also shrink a little when quilting, how much depends on the density of your quilting, the vinyl and the interfacing you're quilting it too. Fancy vinyls are so much fun, but can be a hassle to work with before you're used to them. I've not had any issues with the zipper coming loose, and I use my Raccoon Cases often and with sometimes heavy use (in the stables as cases for scissors etc.). But if you feel uncertain, you can always add an extra line of stitches? 😊 I've never tried serging this, so I don't know how that would go, nor have I owned my serger long enough to say if it would approve of an attempt or not 😄

I'm afraid I don't think it would work, the EVA foam I've handled would not hold up to the multiple stitches but would instead rip at the multiple stitch lines I'm thinking? However, I've not worked a lot with it so I'm not 100% sure, maybe you could make a little test sandwich with the foam and try?
