I love this bag! It's looks so perfect for a night out, a special occasion, etc. and I'm looking forward to making it soon. I also wanted to let you know that your tutorial was great! I know we're our own worst critic and we try to be as perfect as possible, but we're allowed to make a few mistakes here and there and learn from them or laugh about it. What a useful video! So helpful. Many thanks! I want to make a BBQ Grill Cover and Sewing Machine Covers. Not sure if I can use Marine Vinyl for an outdoor cover that takes sun and rain - anyone know? I'd love some feedback. What about sewing machine covers? Fabric fades and gets dusty. I prefer the ease of vinyl. So glad to know I have some options with stiffening the vinyl. Feedback on your video as requested: Video was perfect. Nothing to improve. Concise, to the point, no music (thank god!!!), clear illustrations, relevant useful topic, talking was minimal. Exactly right.

Awww, you're so sweet, thank you for your kind words! 🙏 A good quality marine vinyl is perfect for the applications you suggest, as it's originally used for marine/boat applications like outdoor boat cushions and similar where the vinyl will be exposed to heavy wear, sun and moisture, so it would be really good for BBQ covers or of course sewing machine covers.

I don't think so 😂 I do it because my favorite foam (By Annie's Soft and Stable) doesn't have a fusible version, and because all the fusible ones I have tried (won't mention names but I've tried all the big brands) have really bad glue in my opinion that doesn't hold up for actual use. I want my fused fabric to permanently stick to the foam so my bag looks professional and high quality, I really don't like getting little "bubbles" after using a bag for a few weeks where the fabric and interfacing has separated after being squished under my arm or accidentally sat on one time too many. 🤭 I hope that makes sense? 🥰
