Built 3 cat houses and the cat sits on top of them. That's so cat-like 😄

Thank you for helping us take care of our feral cats. We had them spayed last month and it is starting to get cold at night. We want them to stay warm and happy.

You should bring the mother cat and her kittens, inside, and let them use the catio, only when they are up to it. Still, you did a good job, building this outdoor house, for this cat and her beautiful kittens.

I love that you built such a safe and protected area for your rescue mom cat and your kittens. Very good job thanks for sharing.

I started doing this the other day.and out of curiosity I typed in cat house built - and all sorts of stuff came up. I got 2 strays that come every day to eat the one has been coming around for about 4 yrs the other one about going on 2 yrs. Bought some heated cat houses but the are small and flimsy. I live in N Illinois so it gets cold in the winter.

What a great choice that kitty made when he chose your family! I have wanted one of these for years, I k ow my kitty Jazzie would love it. She sits in her window seats all day and watches birds.I love to work in the yard but but I can take her out there with . There are two huge dogs that have just moved in a couple weeks ago next door and they don't like kitties at all. My son said as soon as I walk outside to work in the yard and she Cries non stop until I come back in. And we all know how loud Siamese Cats can be!

Curious to know if you would still buy one today ?looking at one now
@SavinABuck453 ай бұрын
I would still buy another if it came down to a solid tractor for hard maintenance type work on the farm. I do however dislike the heat that comes from the engine when the temps are high outdoors. Other than that it’s pretty dang tough.

So I'm trying to make your stackable houses I've never made anything before in my life. They are all the same size however they do not line up for some reason I don't know what I'm doing wrong but obviously I'm doing something wrong ugh

This was one of the best catio videos I've seen. I'm framing in on a deck under roof. my project is very different but I still learned more from you because you gave a materials list. I think this is the only one I've seen so far that they actually gave a materials list. I won't be buying exactly the same materials or cutting the wood in half, but just the same, this really helped me visualize what I am about to do. Tree limb was an awesome touch. I live in the forest lots of Fallen trees, cats do love it. Such a lucky cat with kittens. make sure you get those little brats fixed because they get pregnant Young.😮❤

What's keeping the hog wire in the track when something heavy bumps up against it?

I installed a wood screw every few feet inside the track to hold the fence in place.

I have those tiny pavement ants too, I believe they are the argintine ants. I live in So. Cal. They are all over the place in my kitchen and other rooms. When they crawl on you they can bite. Your vid said tea spoon, but looks like you were using a table spoon? But the main thing is the mixing ratio, 1 part boric acid and 2 parts jelly? I seen on the inet all kinds of mixing ratios from 1 in 48 to 1 in 3 using peanut butter. I tried mixing poweded sugar and boric acid about 1 to 1 ratio and the ants didn't seem to eat it. Then I diuuted to about 1 to 4 and ants still didn't go for it. So my next attemt will be with the peanut butter maybe 1 to 4 ratio? Anyhow I liked your video. I will try the jelly next and see. I have used those Terro baits and they work great but can be expensive. Thanks!
