Im surprised you don’t make/have a shaving horse. Makes shaping easier and quicker than the vise. Im going to eventually make one for myself too Love the channel n vids ❤

I live in Northern Michigan, and I would love to have one of these. I have plenty of down trees in my woods, but they seem so damn inefficient to me. The amount you have to put in there everybody says they only have to load at once blah blah, blah blah blah blah blah blah the amount you load in there for what you’re getting out of it is it really worth it? I would seriously like to know. I used to have a freestanding in my living room that would heat my hundred square-foot house with less than 10 cord a year . I’ve been told these take away way more. I’m sure it’s great being able to operate it with a thermostat, but is it worth it in the end?

Shave horse instead of a vise, no more dents :-)

Now it’s no longer just surviving by splitting wood. It’s a game play correctly and you’ll survive.

I recommend a stop for it, like seriously dude. Nail a 2×4 to that plywood and it wouldn't be doing that

Do you ever use a pulp hook? I think I've probably watched every video you posted and don't remember seeing one, which is why I ask, and I've been using one for years, and I enjoy it while moving bucked up wood and shorter logs that I carry. Merry Christmas!!!

Slamming the logs into the boiler like that dumping them will create issues down the road when older you'll definitely end up with a leak faster while new i wouldn't worry but once it gets up in age I wouldn't gets gonna puncture or rip a weld from the metal getting thin over time

@ronkay15732 күн бұрын
@ I use quality items wherever they’re made such as Tuatahi (New Zealand), which dominant timbersports, and Swedish made axes. I also use American made axes but prefer Tuatahi to them all. I prefer German 22 rifles (Anschutz 1710 D KL) for squirrel hunting. Although my American made Cooper rimfire is pretty close in quality.
