tbh this show was very messed up, like i understand being a K-pop trainee is hard af but like y u gotta shame them even more by forcing them to wear their grade. This show just reflects how harsh it is to be in the k-pop industry where perfectionism is the set standard when being selected.

Thank you so much, I became a Sakura fan because I watched this clip several years ago and have watched Produce 48 many times too, even though I don't really follow IZ*ONE activity and only really followed Sakura at LE SSERAFIM now

It was like a moment where they disregarded being in competition with each other + Sakura saying that Lee Ga Eun deserved instead was the cherry on top

She’s incredibly strong. It takes an astonishing amount of courage to feel that way about yourself and to keep going. We are lucky to have her.

She always had a great deal of talent & potential but the reason she didn't see it for years is because the company that runs AKB48 gives their idols extremely little in the way of actual dance & singing tuition. While the publics esteem has gone up for certain members, AKB48's popularity has gone since this show not because the members did anything wrong but because people don't like the system.

there is nothing like the voice of a parent when you're in a stressful environment like i remember on my first or second year studying abroad i was having a hard time and crying all the time, i mean i missed everything, home my friends my city, and classes were getting more and more challenging, one day my dad called me on the phone and he asked me some stuff about how i was doing i said i was fine but he still gave me some advice and encouragement i started crying on the phone because i thought how did he know what was troubling me when we're just on the phone? anyways i'm always thankful for my parents.
