Why are you guys calling everyone that is not living like you woke WTF that is so not true
@Circlecranch977Ай бұрын
Where did you get that idea? I never said that at all. I was referring to the woke haters playing keyboard warriors when they don’t understand or are not mentally capable of living a self sustaining lifestyle. That’s all🤷🏻♂️

exactly what I needed to learn- there was a springhouse and shallow well here and it was 'filled in' by previous owner. Actually, I think he removed the rocks surrounding it to build a foundation for a barn (and not a good foundation either, that building needs to be torn down and something else built there).

If it’s clean water it’s worth developing. City water is poison. The data is available for anyone interested in looking into it.

Another great video with a fantastic tip. Been looking at building a stone wall on the side of my home and I am certain I would have thrown mortar in and walked away. But this simple lesson just shows how a few minutes of extra detail can really set it apart. Overall the project is coming along great. But that wall with those stairs is very clean looking.

I have always enjoyed rock work. The details make a big difference. I would love to see pictures of your stone wall when you get it finished.

You aint lying about safer than the city water. Now that might be changing with the PFAS standards FINALLY being updated. I am not 100% sure of our ground water around here. I know too much of it's history. Still, you're doing it a good way brother. A lot better than most.

You are living the right way, i do the same and i am old school, i learned from my grandparent's and my parents who were taught to live pretty much self sufficient with what resourses you have around you!. And the fact they both survived the great depression especially by food storage. The less processed food and water that enters your body will give you a much heathier life!. I havent drank any city water since i was 18 yrs old and ill turn 68 soon!.

@Circlecranch9772 ай бұрын
I bet you don’t carry a spare tire in your trunk because you don’t think you will ever have a flat tire. You have obviously never tasted spring water. Because freezers require electricity and our local system is unreliable and city water is nasty tasting and full of chemicals. I am too far away from the electric grid to be worth connecting (by choice). I will have the convenience of a regular refrigerator but it will function on a solar system.

No comment on the barbwire cuz I’ve never tried it but I like the idea 👍 What I was gonna suggest is if you run a hot wire parallel with a regular fence is use your fence as a ground??? You have multiple grounds with your t posts ! I have done this and it works great and it’s cost effective. Just saying

The commercial insulators are cheaper than PVC pipe. Barbed wire isn’t good because of the two wires it’s the same as running double length single wire as far as the energy required.
@Circlecranch97710 ай бұрын
It was old used pipe. And I already had the barbed wire. The fence charger is capable of much more wire. So in this case this was the cheapest way to go.

Many do not take the time to ponder where to build, where and what to plant in order to assure the best views, sunlight and maintenance. I have witnessed way to many trees planted to close to structures or to close together, homes built not taking advantage of sunlight or views and drainage issues caused by slopes and lack of vegetation to soak up rains. You are spot on. Greetings from Corpus Christi TX.
