A project 20 years in the making. We are about to build an old fashioned stone spring house with beautiful clear spring water.
This is part one of the underground spring house build. Door frame install and more rock laying.
Going off grid!
Building a spring house the old school diy way. Pretending to be a stone mason.
This episode, part 1 is day 1 in the spring house build series that we have been wanting to do for years. Because we are not connected to the poisonous city water system, we have to get a functioning water system in place before moving onto the property.
The government hates me and anybody else that can be self-sufficient. If you do not depend on them they cannot control you indirectly through food shortages etc. We do not live in fear. We just love the homesteading lifestyle. Come along today and spend some time working on the spring house with me. Having fresh, clear, cold spring water available is such a blessing. Building a DIY spring house is a lot of work!
We purchased our homestead property nearly 20 years ago now because we fell in love with the beautiful creek and multiple springs. This little slice of heaven on earth is our dream home to be. We intend to be as independent and self sufficient as possible, not because we don’t know any better, but because we know it is better.
Our plan is to build a home using as many of the natural building materials as possible that are available on the property. Followed closely by a barn and pasture for our horses that we plan to buy. We miss having them around. We miss the trail rides. Your support by subscribing and sharing will help make it possible.
Thanks for being part of the Circle C Ranch crew.
