This story, while well written, had nothing to do with the title. Absolutely Nothing! No car, no toy car, how does that happen? Your listeners pay attention, and I don’t come back to listen if I am mislead.

I never would've given my parents money for bills, etc like she did if I knew there were other people in the house who could've gotten jobs and helped out with the household expenses. They all thought they were privileged people who deserved something for nothing in return. You were too nice to them.

I'm deeply sorry to hear about your difficult experience. Being seriously injured and in such a vulnerable situation must have been incredibly challenging. It's heartbreaking to hear about the lack of support you received during that time. You deserve compassion, love, and care, especially during moments of hardship. I hope you’ve found strength and support in other areas of your life, and that you’re surrounded by people who uplift and care for you now. Sending you positivity and healing thoughts as you continue to move forward.

Well I loved the way the husband realised how he was doing things, took responsibility, changed his mindset and chose his wife above everything. When you're married, your partner (wife/husband) comes first before EVERYTHING else because the two have become ONE flesh. When both people hold onto that and make that their goal, marriage can withstand ANYTHING that comes it's way and you will see that marriage is actually a wonderful blessing

I was wondering when the hell the title was going to come into play. Sounds in the first place like an ai generated story-give them a $45,000 car or get tossed out to an orphanage? Like... how? Not a lot of instances where that would be an option one way or another-child actors have their parents handling their money and even if it was say, an older teen working since they were able and saving. Or if a grandparent died and left them a fortune-chances are, they wouldn't be able to touch it either as it would be in the hands of a custodian be it a bank or law firm-places with legal stipulations as to how it can be accessed with real world consequences for chicanery. How would someone who could be orphaned pay that kind of money? Maybe the writer meant to imply simply they would be kicked out? But that with this story expectation in mind, how exactly it would then evolve into this where it is a story with likely access to things the OP wouldn't know, let alone name drops. This is likely an ai story. Which, hey, fine. Not a big deal, we certainly do see a lot of stories from reddit. I wonder if the program read that story about the real world incident about the, I believe it was the hooters girl that had been promised a new Toyota if they won the contest her boss held but it ended up being a 'toy Yoda,' instead. One of those incidents being a prompt fed into the program to write the story. Not that there hadn't been similar stories involving promises of classic cars to then only get micro machine toys and the like.

Leaving a family member a single dollar is a clever way to show it was intentional and not an oversight. It makes contesting the will so much harder. Smart move for avoiding drama

can't sell real estate unless you're the only one on the title, so why was husband's name the only one on the title?? if it was only in OP's name, husband couldn't sell it. Also, the mortgage has to be paid off as part of the sale, and OP said she refinanced recently. So the mortgage is probably large. And that's the first thing the real estate agent should check. It's called due diligence.

I always knew these stories were most likely fake but at least others try to sound like an actual person retelling their experiences. This one is literally a crappy Fan Fic, "Audrey" literally gives the parents POV while she's at the restaurant and the dad's dialogue comes across about as naturally as the AI that wrote this🤣
