Wow, thank you so much for he shoutout, Jeff! I also like the other channels you mentioned. Patiala was a Convention Princely State in the era of the British Raj. I like those stamps. The New Zealand stamp is beautiful, especially if one notices the design properly. For some reason I am not interested in collecting Cinderella stamps. Don't know why, possibly because they were not issued for postal use. Thanks for a great video, Jeff!!! I am looking forward to your video about the Pitcairn Islands.

Those kangaroos stamps are beautiful and interesting to deep dive into to specialise in, right? At 5:21, why were they overprinted? Because they still had stock of them? At 6:56, nice that stamp and cancellation on paper. Impressive to think some of these stamps are 100 years old, or even older and made it in your album, well preserved. Nice stock sheets, what brand are they? The orange kangaroos is a very beautiful stamp/design! Thanks for a lovely video Jeff!

@@chrislovesstamps Hi Chris - thanks for watching !!!! Hi Jeff!! Great video. You told the history of the Federation of Australia and the kangaroo and map and King George V stamps very interesting and well. I smiled about King George V being upstaged by a kangaroo. 😄 Is it easy to identify the kangaroo and map and King George V stamps issued in different years - thus in what year a specific stamp was issued? Your King George V collection is really coming on well! I REALLY like the orange kangaroo stamps! Beautiful! Thanks again for a very enjoyable video!
@jeffsstampsАй бұрын
Hi Charnie - thanks for that - I am glad you enjoyed the video! The Kangaroo and map stamps released in 1913 and the last of them (the 2d) lasted until 1948 in conjunction with the KGV stamps - And the KGV stamps did not last as long as the kangaroo and map as the last of those stopped circulating in 1938 (a couple of years after KGV death) - King Edward the V111 only lasted one year and so they had to destroy the Australian King Edward V111 stamps and quickly create KGV1 stamps - so a bit messy :) so if you have an Australian King Edward V111 stamp you would be very rich !!!! Yes the different colours of KGV stamps are of different years - I will go over sone of the different colours and years soon on the KGV Aussie stamps :)
