Hello Jeff! Thank you for so clearly showing the postage due stamps of Australia. They are beautiful, I think also because of their green and red colour combination. I really like your videos and the stamps you show us. Thank you so much for shout out of my channel! I appreciate it so much. - May I please ask something? While you are taking your video, can you see what the viewer would see? You show your stamps in the close up in the correct place and very stable. I have a problem of determining the correct place to hold the stamp, because I cannot see what I am capturing on video while I am doing it. I use a cellphone to capture my videos.

@@GreatStampAdventure hi Charnie - I have my I-phone on a hand held gimbal ( the gimbal comes white a stand so you can sit it in the table.) The lens of the phone is pointing toward my table and the face of the phone (my screen) is toward me. I go into photos and select video mode then enlarge my screen area - all I do then is bring the stamp up to the screen while I am looking through my phone - I can see if it is focused and where to position the stamp etc - I k ow some people use video cameras (I have one also) but really that is too time consuming for me when instead I can capture the stamps clearly using video from my phone :) and it is done and then I can upload directly from the phone to KZbin

@@jeffsstamps Jeff, thank you tremendously telling me about your set up. The difference is that my cell phone screen and camera lens is showing upwards and downwards respectively, thus I cannot see the screen. I am going to try to use your setup with the phone more at an angle, if you don't mind. That will help a lot!!!!

@@GreatStampAdventure ohh I see !! Yes my camera is on a small stand in front of me and the camera is angled downward. But you may want to combine both methods of directly above looking down as you do and on the table looking through your phone :) I find your videos very professional and well put together compared to my quick rudimentary videos.

@@jeffsstamps Oh, the other problem is that the frame of the holder on my stand obscure the screen. It means I must search for another phone holder. No, your videos are just different. I like that they are shorter and "digestible", something I find hard to do! Also I like that you show the stamps so clearly that one can appreciate the detail. Otherwise I would not have asked about your method. 🙂

@@GreatStampAdventure my gimbal is the OSMO hand held gimbal that will hold most phones - I sent you an e-mail with a photo of it - Jeff :)
