Full fare is the amount you get charged per trip. Using regular leap card its two euro and using student card it would cost 1 euro

You have to use a child leap card for children from age 5-15. They have Lower fare rates from an adult leap card. You cannot use the same leap card to pay for more than one person for luas and tram. However for bus you can use the same leap but in this case the driver would issue paper tickets for the other person by deducting money from same leap card.

You cannot. Student leap cards are given only to students after verifying required college documents. The idea is to help students (who usually have a lot of expenses to bear given that they are not working) to save on travel costs so it doesn’t makes sense to provide students leap cards to working adults.

Yes you can buy leap cards at airport but if you are a student you can get student leap card that are having lower fare prices but that you cannot buy student leap card in airport. I would say don’t buy regular leap card in airport and instead directly get your student leap card made by visiting dublin bus office. Student leaps cannot be brought in Stores. You have to submit your college documents in dublin bus office in city center.

You could carry a pocket raincoat. They are really light and easily bagged in case it happens to rain. If you have all weather jacket that will help too ! Yes weather is a little unpredictable and changes quickly here in Ireland. So it’s good to be prepared if you’re on a schedule. Weather apps are 90% accurate .
