My advice would be something like eBay, Facebook marketplace, or if there is anyone in your area breaking a discovery? But I do know the rear bumper was from a top speck car ES model, I believe.

Anyone else finding themselves in this situation try putting it in low, it may well give you drive so you can get out of trouble. I lost drive in my Disco 2 having just come off a motorway. Luckily after an 80 mile drive, I was quite Close to home so was able to crawl home in low 5th!

A little while back, I was turning a Discovery 1 into a defender 100 build for a guy, as the tub was rotten at the back, but unfortunately, he decided to give up on the project and scrapped it but I would like to give it another go at some point in the future.

Thank you for being the only person to use a dashboard mat for preventative purposes instead of covering up the cracks! I hate dashboard mats almost as much as the dash cracks. That is super logical! Kudos!

Yes I'll be absolutely honest I'm not a fond of dash mats, but I need to find a way of protecting the dash from the sunlight and the Heat I didn't want it damaged or cracked and to be honest it is definitely keeping it a lot cooler

hi, ive just bought my first landcover the other week, a disco 2. last week I noticed the rear boot carpet was damp. when I've had chance this week I've set about taking it up and having a look. its same as yours and smells damp, the fuel sensor is rusty so pulled it out. I poured water all over the top of the roof and couldn't see any leaks inside, so puzzled there. I mean it could just be condensation that's built up under there with no circulation of air underneath there. cheers

Would someone have gone wading a tad to deep for water to have got in also I know in the back corners there is vents and I think some one way bungs might be worth checking them out I would say don't use my method of carpet removal unless it will be used for Off-roading

Unfortunately, no, the vehicle owner chose to break it instead, which was a shame as I was looking forward to the 100 build, but I want to get a workshop and return to the idea

My one was a cheap Ebay special,I didn't have any problems with mine but I have heard a lot of people have there fail on them if I was to get another one I would deffo get a better made one

I watched this video to get an idea where to drop in my diesel heater turret. I’m thinking of yanking out the rear seat and placing it there. I had wanted to put it behind the rear wheel arch on the side but I am not so sure on that spot now 👍🏻

You have interference I think the power cord is touching the speaker chords they need to be running on two different sides of the car power cords should be running to the left the speaker cord should be running to the

Many years ago i ran out of fuel as i was driving into the servo, i was just 17 meters away from the pump. A kind citizen connected a tow strap and towed my car to the pump. The previous 50 people ignored me.

Bit late to the party, but I attached mine to the tow bar. Ran the cable under the mats and used a cigarette socket adapter with an on/off switch. Saves scuffing the spare on some volvo that happens to be parked behind you.
