Good stuff guys! I'm currently doing the exact same thing with a disco 1 3.9 v8. I've rebuilt the engine, refurbished the chassis, and I've started fitting body panels from a defender donor car I acquired. If you can get a hi-cap tub from a 130 crew cab, it's the perfect size for a 100" chassis. It's shorter than a 110 tub which is ideal. Also, I've taken the B pillar from the 130 and the rear bulkhead to basically make the cab have more legroom so everything will be less cramped. I think it equates to a cab that has about 6-8" more legroom when complete. Happy to chat/trade pics via email if you like!

Did you get any further with this?

Unfortunately, no, the vehicle owner chose to break it instead, which was a shame as I was looking forward to the 100 build, but I want to get a workshop and return to the idea
