The devs said they would be addressing concerns with the ranked system later this season a few weeks back. Haven’t heard anything yet, still holding out hope they’re considering changes. They have to know that literally no one likes the current system, I don’t know why they would leave it the way it is.

I dived abit into the comments and good yonders, the amount of negativity is staggering. We're better than this, c'mon. I can see where the sentiment of "Lacking Content" comes from, but at the same time, shouldn't we also recognize that Ubi is also trying to take it slow but steady? I appreciate the R6Devs being very cautious about introducing things since any change they make, they try to avoid band-aid solutions, and looks toward the long term. And as much as the Devs would like to release all of these features, it takes time to review, refine, and eventually push out in a stable state rather than push now and worry about consequences later. Lighten Up people! R6 is a great game, and still is the only one of it's kind. Let us enjoy what we already have, but stay critical of what gets introduced rather than endlessly complain.

im really not a super critical guy, and i like to think ive been patient with ubi for my past 8 years of playing, but unless we get something else at this reveal, ill be really REALLY disappointed. this is a joke of a season, and ubi should be embarrassed.

I'm not sure how much pull you have with the developers of siege, but maybe if you like this idea, then you can push it forward to them. We already have a system in place where people can vote to cancel a game if a player leaves in the first round. Anyone other than brain dead players knows that you lose the rp you gained from winning with a cheater and the other players get it back. All in all, the cheater has just wasted everyone's time. What if they implemented a system where if 7 of 10 players vote to cancel the match due to cheating at any point of the game, then it cancels, and no rp is affected. This takes 5 victim players on one team and 2 from the other so that if the cheater is playing with 2 others, they have no say. Imagine being a cheater and every game you play just get cancelled 2 rounds in. They would give up or have to really hide it and still get banned later if they were closet cheating. It's not a huge thing to implement but I feel like it would change the game for genuine players on both teams. I can't see a down side to this and both teams have to agree.

im kinda scared of the rep system because its just based on players votes i always try to stay calm and give good callouts and only have a low tier griefing and voice abuse because somehow anyone voted for that on me and im on the 3rd tier of reputation nearly on disruptive i really dont get this system and what its based on, and not being able to obtain rewards while in disruptive is kind of crucial to me too because i did close to nothing abusive at all the whole season

How is this even a fkn season at this point? Back in the day we had 2 operators, every op had 2 new main guns, a secondary gun, there was a new map or a rework, there were new seasonal skins, there were also the operator balancings. Right now we have what, recruit rework? Thas LITERALLY it? You cant tell me that changing some values of Solis is considered a "rework" like wtf that used to be the kind of content too small to be even mentioned during y3, y4, y5 during great years of content. Now, I try to be fair. We cant have everything all the time but what ARE they doing? Anti-Cheat might be bad but not all the team is working on that specific topic. What are they working on? Did they move on to Siege2? Because there is no way this is even remotely close to a new "season", thats like saying we make a new season in a battle royale game with only adding a battlepass with 5 skins. Man, there is no content and I dont know how? If this keeps declining, there will literally be only balance changes by next year masked as a "new season"
