0:55 you can actually look at the hipfire crosshair showing the spread. in the old version the circle is just at the outer rim of the target's line, in the new one it's just in the middle of the line. So the change is very minimal, what is honestly pretty understandable considering the already tight old spread. Maybe they tried to make it more consistent between shotguns and that's why there's only a small change, idk

The M590 is the baseline according to ubisoft and they want to make the shotguns consistent within ~10m. The changes basically make shotguns a death machine if the enemy is out of cover and you have a halfway decent shot.

@@silveightyOn attack definitely they have better weapons but for defense the french shotty has been a deadly option for holding down close angles

@@kirbyis4ever unfortunately they're right, as both french defenders have ACOGs. However, running flashes on Lion with the shotty is very funny when done well.

You should be doing tests at 10m, not 5. Really hard to see the small changes actually have an effect when it's this close

Could you test lethality of shotguns at different ranges in the other line of shooting range (the one with dummy)

I could but the pellets are random so they will hit different parts of the body each time and those have different dmg modifiers. So getting a useful bit of data is much more difficulty as you may just get a bunch of kills in a row but the shotgun is actually worse but just got lucky pellet placement

i haven't played for like 6 months. Everytime i play ( on xbox surprisingly. ) there's cheaters. Bugs, sound bugs. Lag \ dysnc. Team mates troll and overall it takes too long to find a game and play it. R6 SIEGE was good long ago when Valkarie and black beard was released. Idk when it died, maybe when they took out hostage and secure point from comp. Yeah that's when it went down hill quick. This games not good. I can hold an angle and by the time I see enemy pixels im dead, kill cams show him peek while i see 0.005% of his arm. And yeah im sick of losing because An enemy sees 1% of my arm as i'm peaking but before I get a shot off i'm ded in 0.0003 seconds. Inhuman reactions soooo, back to the cheats. Wall hack and aimbot. The amount of times I've been shot through walls.... Yeah no thanks.

Shotguns never were 'op' and this update won't change that. Please stop calling them that. All it does is put bad ideas (like nerfing them again) in Ubisoft's heads.
