I met a guy from canada in the smoky mountains riding that talked to me about one of my Buells i was riding. He had one of these. I didnt even know they existed. He had a vstrom at the time but showed me clips and pics of his mt01 back home and now i want one! Hard to find in the US tho apparently they werent imported here. I like any vtwin hooligan/sportbikes. Brahhp

I sold all my beloved Buells and now have the MT-01 and never looking back. The MT-01 has a bullet proof motor with a chain drive. The only mod you need to do is some aftermarket mufflers.

@Z1slayer I have an x1 and xb12s lighting and an EBR 1190sx. I'll definitely add one of these to the stable at some point if I find one. The 1190 is an absolute beast. Love my xb12s tho just a fun bike. I've had 10 different liter bikes and I just love that lil buell. Lol

That handlebar setup looks great!! Looks wider and taller than stock. Can you tell me how to do this? I have a MT-01 and I don’t like the stock narrow handlebars.

Thanks man 😀 I have a handlebar from ABM istaled. Widest and with a special bend for Naked bikes. Unfortunately I can't tell you exactly which model I have. Increased handlebar mount from ABM is also installed. Maybe you can find something suitable here: ab-m.de/de/motorradzubehoer-shop-start/? Longer brake lines are also necessary, gas and clutch lines have to be routed a differently. hope I could help you 👍

The Varadero is very high and with the high center of gravity you can feel the weight of 250kg when you drive slowly or when turning/pushing. If you have very little experience with such heavy bikes, it will feel strange at first, but once you get the hang of it there shouldn't be any problems. 😀👍

Da ich das selbe Motorrad fahre hilft mir das Video durch den Winter zu kommen. Trotz das ich auf der Couch sitze gibt mir das Video das Gefühl am Motorrad zu sitzen. Verrückt oder ??

Great video. Hypnotic to watch. I too have an MT01 with Akras. I’m lucky enough to have some lovely bikes, but nothing sounds like these! Top job on the sound track too. I just tried a GoPro but the sound was lost in the wind noise. I’ll try a foam suppressor but see you use a different audio recorder. Sounds great! 👍

Thanks man 😃👍 the akras for the MT01 are great! Unfortunately I had to remove the DAM slip-ons because they are not legal and in Austria they are now controlling the volume very precisely :S The external audio recorder is mounted in my backpack or on the rear of the bike to get a less noisier audio file 👍
