@@mariasimao3522 I actually totally agree with you there! I look back at when he was just a little potato bub and how precious he was and I miss it already. Now I make a conscious effort to enjoy him in the stage he’s in because time is flying. And would you believe it, after this his sleep changed and we’ve been having a lot more better nights. Glad you enjoy the scenic bits, obviously my favourite part to film too ☺️ So I’m about 2 weeks into closing my socials and deleting the apps, a bit longer into the declutter and paring back side of things though. As time passes it gets easier (like most things). It’s been funny, I’ve gone through stages - initially I was like WOW a whole new world. Then my mind was determined to only think about social media and what I could be missing out on. I’ve also been a bit of a loose end and a bit bored. Now I’m finding I’m not as focused on it and I have so much brain space to think - the Universe hates a void so it’ll always find a way to fill it 😂 But I’ve been feeling inspired and creative, not to mention productive. I also feel calmer and less distracted. I can focus. Understand it’s a bit harder for you with your business and presence being heavily involved with being online in the various forms. But it sounds like you’ve been making great steps towards it though with finding yourself in the garden a lot more! Which is fabulous. Some reading material / food for thought: Digital Minimalism - Cal Newport, The Neuroscience of Mindfulness - Dr Stan Rodski. I plan to do a video on this entire topic soon enough as I have SO many thoughts and experiences to share. But if you want to know anything else or more specifics let me know. I’m clearly very passionate about this 😂 Also as an aside, if you were going to make the jump into a life more offline, I have thoughts about this too. Action things like do a big digital declutter of everything first so if you do return you can extract the most value out of your time online. And following your interests off social media - sign up to newsletters etc. so you are curating your own newsfeed straight to your inbox. Start your own newsletter so you aren’t leaving everything completely but you get to decide what you share and when/how often instead of the pressure of always being on. If you don’t go offline, still do a declutter and remove the apps from your phone or schedule time in the day / week to get online and do your work and publicise this time. I don’t have the self control to keep my socials up and I just wanted a clean sweep. Hope this helps!

I’m with you, I love a good surgery sleep, I’ve had more than enough of those the last few years but that’s the silver lining of it all 😂 I will say it’s been a process with the surgery… I think for you it’d be a whole other consideration as your work is so physical. I was out of action for a decent chunk of time and even now I wouldn’t want to kneel on it, and it certainly doesn’t feel like my non-operated knee. My specialist asked me if I was a runner! Apparently it’s good that I’m not as I’ve lost a boat load of cushioning in there and it wouldn’t be viable for me to run anymore. I wasn’t even one to begin with, just unlucky 🥲 And thank you!
