Sakams bro. Are these the MX146 Boots. How waterproof are they and how much heavy downpours have your ridden them in. Thanks bro.
@PunjabiCyclist3 ай бұрын
Wassalams bro, these are the MX146 wide winter MTB boots and they are waterproof in heavy downpours I have ridden during Dec to Mar here in England and have never experienced water getting into my feet, they have a tight BOA closing to stop water getting in. If you do decide to get them I suggest you try your size first (maybe with a bike fitter or Sigma Sports) OR use the size you currently have for your cycling shoes as these are wide ones.
@ketle3693 ай бұрын
The issue I have with mye Diadora winter shoes is when it rains water will travel along my legs and into the shoes. I’m looking at the Fizik shoes. Do they have the same issue in heavy rain?

Wassalams praa ghee shukriya for watching, the strava and komoot links are included in the description which includes the route and stats. Pre ride nashta is 2 toasts with jam or porridge with coffee, weather forecast check is done using mywindsock.com/page/welcome-to-mywindsock/ and then rechecking on BBC weather app. Average speed I try to aim for 15 mph or 25 kph but it’s tough with all the climbs in the UK, however can be achieved with consistent training.

Just picked up a whole kit 360 x4 3m stick, spare batteries, lens protectors, diving housing etc etc. One thing i find super friggin poor for $170 for the stick is that it doesnt come with an adapter so you could put the camera on an agle for example. really really poor, Will maybe 3d print one out of carbon fibre nylon, but still. annoying.

I am looking to get the x4 and he 3m stick for hikes, I have seen proper camera gear that is really steady but heavier and retract to 75cm, so not ideal for light overseas travel. How does the x4 deal with the stabilisation when say just walking with it above me at 3 metres please? I have subbed, need more Punjabis on here 😀
@PunjabiCyclist7 ай бұрын
Thank you Paaji for subscribing appreciate it, I have a One X2 and the stabilisation seems decent; and I am guessing on the X4 it would be even better being the latest model, to be frank I don't have a X4, thus cannot comment factual. I am also going to use the 3M selfie stick with my ONE X2 on my hiking trips, probably make a couple of videos for my viewers like you. 😂 Definitely need more Punjabis watching this channel, please spread the word!

Well done man. That fatigue after the ride bro. The more you do these things the faster your body recovers. Keep it up bro Alhamdulillah. Also, regards the pressure sores - search for a cream called Medihoney and get the cream version - it i blended with manuka honey and reall helps the pressure sores heal faster. If you want quicker healing then the pure version is even better.

What pannier bag is it bro. Personally the lowest level pannier you should be owning is a Deuter or an Ortlieb. Yes, Tailfin, I suppose going ultralight on a pannier is gonna have its own stress-reponse. My Ortlieb saddlepack (17L) once broke at a clamp but they replaced it. Another thought Asi is that you use standard bikepackingbags. This was slightly less volume means you pack lighter and therefore go further. JK for the vid.
@PunjabiCyclist8 ай бұрын
Thanks bro for the advice, appreciated. Tailfin kindly have replaced the clamp for free, it was my error, I am very happy with the Tailfin bags, it was a blessing in disguise at least I got a proper nashta for once! 😂😂

@@shafter164 That's fine bro we all have our preferential bike packing bags, to be fair I didn’t notice that the lower hook was not slided onto the rack; and the upper mount was on 1 of the pannier mounts and not 2; and I tried to clamp it, while doing so a small plastic bit above the clamp broke. I will put it down to user error rather then product workmanship.
