My 3 BOCOs: headset, battery charger, and transmitter. Everything else is consumable. And there's nothing wrong with BNFs. They're all I fly. I built a couple, but I prefer buying mine pre-built and tested. U do U, tho'.

Quads get broken a lot. Having to wait on the mail for new pieces breaks the game for me. Worst thing I did was keep buying different models of b'n'f quads. If I had to start again I'd get many of the same model to keep pieces interchangeability and allow for easy and immediate repairs. Best thing I did was buying good googles and good radio from the start; as those won't usually get smashed into the ground. Spend your big money there once.

I got nothing man, this was just about perfect. Absolutely loved it! Hope you find the time and love (and probably funds) to expand on this journey(?) because I would love to see this filmed over a longer period with more pilots. With ups and downs and a short "script" for the proper flow.

8:38 i wish i had time to build drones. Bind and fly's at least got me in the air. I love flying, it's the greatest feeling and if you can afford a bind and fly and trash it as a first drone then go for it.

Nice video. I think the only thing ruining this hobby are thumbnails on videos that have people with their mouths wide open. Maybe that's just a pet peeve of mine, like added closed captions on shorts, or an overblown bro vibe reaction to a dive.

The stock motors on most BNF whoops have too low of a KV(19000) and to have a good time you need at least 25000kv for 1s

I must be odd, coz for me FPV is all about the actual flying. I record for crash recovery, and to archive my progress. 99.9% of my stick time goes unrecorded. But that's just me; U do U, coz I wanna see it.

A lot of Facebook FPV seems to be people joining groups just to talk trash about other people’s decision of digital ecosystem. Literally people joining Walksnail groups to talk about how much better DJI is and vice versa. There’s also a lot of affiliate link posts disguised as a friendly in stock alert.
