Salam brother, I will be flying in March from London. Do I need permission from Nusuk for Umrah, or can I use the stopover/transit visa?

Walaikum Salam. If you already have the stop over/transit visa then you won’t need a umrah permission at Nusuk, it is just a formality. I do not see anyone checking anything at entrance. It is totally up to you to sign up at Nusuk using your stop over visa number. Hope that helps inshAllah.

Can you pls tell some details about checked bags,,,, is it a must to take your luggage or it was your airline. Because I know someone,,, they didn’t take the luggage. So I am confused.

They don’t give you luggage if your layover is less than 24 hours but if your layover is over 1 day than you have to take your luggage with you to makkah.

@@travelwithtahir711Takabal allah. Thanks for sharing your experience. Are you sure about the 24hours / Luggage rule ? I read that they force travelers to pick up their luggage and re-check them for the next flight for layovers of 6+ hours
