Salam brother, I will be flying in March from London. Do I need permission from Nusuk for Umrah, or can I use the stopover/transit visa?

Walaikum Salam. If you already have the stop over/transit visa then you won’t need a umrah permission at Nusuk, it is just a formality. I do not see anyone checking anything at entrance. It is totally up to you to sign up at Nusuk using your stop over visa number. Hope that helps inshAllah.

Can you pls tell some details about checked bags,,,, is it a must to take your luggage or it was your airline. Because I know someone,,, they didn’t take the luggage. So I am confused.

They don’t give you luggage if your layover is less than 24 hours but if your layover is over 1 day than you have to take your luggage with you to makkah.

Depends who you ask. I would say in my experience I paid between 150 riyal to 250 riyal but 100 to 150 riyal is reasonable.

Stop over visa can be issued on arrival as well but I’d recommend getting it online before.

I had to get a hotel room & put my stuff there so I can perform umrah .

They don’t have any places to put any luggage so always be prepared or have your stuff put somewhere in room or with someone you know.

It is not possible although you can visit MasjidAlHaram & pray Salah & read Quran.
