Is it just me or really this nostalgic characters voice fits so well in this nostalgic song?

I like this. You should remake this and add Bakura in for a duet to this song, and by that I mean have Bakura sing the 2nd verse

I feel like Zarc's design should have been an ungodly mashup of all four of the Yu boys, with his personality reflecting each of them in turn. Oh, and it'd help if his title of Supreme King actually *meant* anything, and if he did more than just go on a berserk rampage demanding a Duel.

Love seeing a good Joey vid. He is my favorite character in all of Yu-Gi-Oh! And one of my favorite characters in anime/manga. He is the reason why i still love underdog style best friend characters. Truly one of the greatest to ever do it

Yugi/Pharoah: "sore wa dou kana?" (JP dub) Jaden: "Get your game on" or "Gotcha" (JP dub) Yusei: "Let's rev it up!" Yuma: "Hi-five the sky/feeling the flow" or "KATTOBINGU DA" (JP dub) Yuya: "Swing into action!" Yusaku: *"Shut up"* (to Ai)

I like Yuya's pendulum summon chant the most (JP sub). It felt powerful to me. "Swing, Pendulum of souls, draw the light to the either!"

Yeah sub chants tend to have more intensity and passion into them, which if done correctly just sounds so cool.

There are some really cool ones, I remember thinking domain expansions from jujutsu kaisen remind me of them (if you've seen it you'll know) they introduce their domain in an almost poetic way. I always found summoning chants so interesting so I would love to make a video ranking them.

Only works when an attack is negated. The main clutch card of the main protagonist of the fourth Yugioh series.

Judge ! Can I get a ruling on that last move with the magic cylinder.
@ibra80969 күн бұрын
The effect "negate the attack" and the effect "inflict damage to your opponent equal to its ATK" of "Magic Cylinder" are treated as being done at the same time. Therefore, at the timing that an attack was negated by "Magic Cylinder", "Double or Nothing!" can be activated.
@jacobwalker65209 күн бұрын
Magic Cylinder deals the damage UPON negate, so Marik doesn't dodge any damage. But at 6k attack after double or nothing I assume Marik only takes 3k damage.

Funny thing is, no matter which version you go with, either resisting the shadow realm to the point of straight up coming back, or TANKING THE ACTUAL POWER OF THE SUN GOD and only falling into a coma that again, he recovers from within an insanely short timeframe is ludicrous

Firstly, sorry for the long rant ahead, but I want to clear some misconceptions some people seem to have. The video was good, but I think a lot of people misunderstand Z-Arc as a character and that is especially true if you watch the dub, rather than the sub. Z-Arc's character can be summarized in his backstory. A really talented and pure duelist, who was dueling for the enjoyment and entertainment of others, but because of the technology Arc V has, the opponents could get hurt in a duel and people saw that as entertainment, continuing to demand more extreme and more brutal duels from him. Because of his position as entertainer, he decided to oblige, turning him into more sadistic and twisted person as time went on till he started caring only about winning and the complete destruction of his opponents, where it reached the point that he decided that for him to give the ultimate entertainment to people would be to destroy them, just like they had always demanded him to do. He is quite literally a representation of those talented people or influencers that lose their way, being crushed by the demands and expectations of the audience, so in a sense, he is the evil they created. When we see Yuya going berserk it is not the anger that showcases Z-Arc's influence and character, but rather the fact he get's hyper fixated on winning in the most brutal, overkill way possible, uncaring for the consequences and that is best shown during Yuya's duel against Yuri. During the whole duel Yuya struggles in a philosophical fight where he is struggling to uphold his father's ideals, while facing Yuri's ideology of winning is everything and ultimately Yuya has to let go of his ideology to overcome Yuri, so as he won the actual duel, he lost the ideological battle, declaring that he won and from now on will continue to win as the others wanted him to, leading to his transformation into his former self. Z-Arc acts so differently, compared to berserk Yuya, because at the end of the day, the rage Yuya feels is his own, it's his actions during those times that are influenced by Zarc. When Z-Arc returns you can clearly see that he is exactly what he was explained to be. Extremely confident in his own ability, believing he is absolutely unbeatable because of his history, focused on entertaining duels, just like Yuya, but entertaining in a sense completely destroying his opponents, because that's what he was led to believe. That's why he always talk down to others and you don't really see him get angry like that, because he doesn't believe that his opponents pose enough challenge for him to get worked over. In conclusion I think Z-Arc was really good villain, that explored a side that no other villain in Yugioh touched, but the way they dealt with him and the way the series as a whole ended left a sour taste in the mouths of many.

You make a fair point, in my opinion there was definitely a great idea there I just don't feel that it was executed as well as it could've been. Especially since some main Yu-Gi-Oh! Villains tend to be quite generic, which I don't mind but it's nicer to have the final villain of the series have some depth to their character. For example I found Zorc and Don thousand to be pretty similar just simply evil characters, but I find a character like Z-One much more interesting as he has a pretty justified reason to act the way he does, and it's much more interesting to me when a villain believes they're doing the right thing. I think they tried to do something like this but ultimately fell short although conceptually it was a very good idea.
@bubblegum-dumdum253610 күн бұрын
@@Zombrosk. Indeed, for me the whole Arc V could be summarized as great ideas with bad executions. For me personally, Z-Arc was a great villain conceptually and given more time and better send off he could have been incredibly iconic, but we've got what we've got. What made him great villain for me was that at the end of the day he was just human who became a monster, trying to fulfill the needs of others and I gotta give them props for trying it, if nothing else. Also I totally agree with your point on Yugioh villains as a whole and that's why I appreciate when they try to build them as characters like the aforementioned Z-One, Z-Arc and Ai from Vrains, because even if they fail, it still makes them more interesting than if they just made them basic as f and call it a day.
