Love those NASA-designed cupboard closers - you should patent the design perhaps with an adjustable mechanism to fit all cupboard knobs regardless of distance apart. If you do and make a million remember me. I'll be happy with 10% to kickstart my own camper ha ha

Great minds, my build is very similar, door at the back, walk way through the middle, bed at the other end, the rest along the left/right walls for maximum use of the space all in a box truck with twice the space for half the price of a van and the best part is all the solar you can fit on the roof providing a realistic amount of daily energy making the grid and genies obsolete. I recommend a urine diverter to your grey tank for your compost toilet, much better in every way. I made some electric stairs and put a roller shutter at the back both controlled with my phone which is a nice to have if your looking for another project in the future :)

Liked and subscribed. I like your down-to-earth presentation. I'm just about to start a build-out on a box truck here in Taiwan, and have been doing so much research my head is spinning. Your no-BS approach helps me get a more solid perspective. I've done construction in the past, did a van conversion with my dad when I was a kid, and have always tinkered in the trades while teaching history, so I'm pretty confident I can make this all work, but it's a big project! You gave me a confidence boost today :D

How do you determine whether it’s the capacitor or hybrid battery causing this issue? I’ve heard on other videos that changing out the key fob battery does the trick which sounds wishful. Just changed out my 12v battery and that didn’t do the trick. Your video used to work but now I get nothing no matter which procedure I follow. Any help is appreciated, still a great video since it does work.

If it were me, I would start with the least expensive problem first. However, if I were you and you’re not 100% sure about what the issue is. I would probably take it to a technician to find out the issue. Once you find out the problem if you’re mechanically inclined, you can replace the parts yourself. It may cost a couple hundred dollars for diagnostics but at least you will know the exact problem. I feel that it’s a combination meter but I am not there and I can’t check it for you but I am not 100% sure. You need a technician

It was definitely more cost-effective to purchase smaller charge controllers rather than a larger charge controller that I cannot afford at the time. With the amount of power coming out of those solar panels, I did not want to over-panel my charge controller so I went with multiple charge controllers to distribute that power evenly. If you were not familiar with the term Over paneling that is when you have too many panels on a single charge controller. Thank you for watching.

The problem lies in a faulty capacitor that is in the combination meter, which is in your dashboard. There are two remedies to this problem. One is take out your dashboard and solder in another capacitor. Or your next solution would be to source one on the Internet, which there are a lot of rebuilt ones on Internet auction websites. There are videos on KZbin that show how to remove the dash board. Also, there is a third option which is send it to the dealership and let them charge $4000 to repair it. Thank you for watching.

Your permanent fix. If you want to do the repair yourself would be going to eBay. Buy a new combination meter for $100 and replace it yourself. Videos are on KZbin about the replacement. The problem is a capacitor inside of the combination meter. You can solder in a five dollar combination meter on the capacitor however if you’re not good at soldering, you can ruin Your combination meter. Thank you for watching. Good luck.

You’re gonna have to check both of your batteries. Once you figure out the problem with your batteries, you then have to get power to your cluster in order to do that. You would have to replace your combination meter in order to find out why your car is not starting. However, you could have more problems than just your combination meter.
