For an agnostic or an atheist there is a difference between being uncomfortable saying “gods don’t exist” and having reasons to believe that “gods do not exist.” How we feel, individually, about a statement is irrelevant to its truth value. the reasons we have for a particular belief can be evaluated as sufficient, insufficient, or unclear. There is nothing wrong with saying “I don’t know” when you have insufficient information. But, in the face of sufficient evidence, saying “well, it is logically possible that blah, blah, blah” simply doesn’t cut it. We have far more evidence that the god worshiped by the Christian’s does not exist than we have as individuals that the medicine the doctor prescribed for us is not going to kill you. Not only is it logically possible it is simply possible that the medicine will kill you. But, will you not take the medicine on that reasoning? This is the same as having strong evidence that god is nonexistent and claiming that you don’t know, because it’s logically possible that the evidence and reasoning is wrong. so, if you are agnostic, why do you take your doctor’s advice?

This guy is extremely decadent and just shows what a mind that only accepts science and formal logique does to you. This guy is a well-known satanist, pro-abortion, pro-LGBT....basically the kind of stuff which is destroying families, tearing down the foundations of our society, creating extreme confusion with genders and the like. He does satanic invocations ("ironically"), someone who literally says "Hail Satan".... guys, don't let his word salad confirm your bias and look for the truth in your hearts. You know there's much more to life than just formal logique and scientific facts; these are only part of the whole picture of our existence

how would you explain the gematrical correspondences in the semantics of language? these correspondences are entirely improbable, nigh impossible without an intelligence programming them into reality

Religions are like the discussions and theories about the future plot of a series/film. Everyone tries to guess how the story will turn out to be, but the problem is that those theorists try to write their stories as canon, when only the proper process of discovery through solid scientific inquiries can clear what the plot is

The problem with modern atheism is that it was captured by the left and now the term carries all types of ridiculous connotations and assumptions

The abrahamic religions infected the world with an endless search for god. Everyone is so obsessed about having the right god. It seems to me that's quite foolish to put the whole essence of nature and reality in this anthropomorphic being. The search for God isn't important, we should just learn to appreciate the mystery of not knowing the true essence of reality

Really awesome of Aron to (A) recognise and to publicly acknowledge the similarity between Sharia and Biblical Law. And also (B) to know that the proper usage is "Sharia" and not "Sharia Law," since "Sharia" already means "Canonical Islamic Law." I mean, you wouldn't say "Canonical Islamic Law Law..."

Yup! Because of the elliptical orbit, we're 5 MILLION kilometers (about 3 million miles) closer to the sun, at our closest pass, than we are at our farthest pass! Additionally, Mercury is MUCH closer to the sun than Venus and yet Venus is MUCH hotter than Mercury. So despite the plaintive bleating of theists, distance from the sun doesn't have that much of an effect on temperature. Hells, the surface of the moon varies between about 130 Celsius in the sun and -130 in the shade. Of course, a number of theists deal with this discrepancy by pretending it doesn't exist. Not the discrepancy, but the moon!!! They pretend that the moon is just a hologram!!! Others will pretend that space isn't real and that we've never been to space, let alone the moon. They go to extraordinary lengths to be able to maintain their delusions, without having objective reality intrude upon them!

Aron tells us a story at around 4:00 that kinda blows my mind! If the DSM IV (and maybe V) REFUSES to allow a clinician to diagnose theists with Delusion Disorder, then those who have the ability to alter such things NEED to hear this story and to meet that woman! They can hear it directly from her, if they doubt the veracity of the anecdote! This goes beyond mere delusion! This is a stubborn, INTENSE refusal to accept objective reality, regardless of the strength of evidence, showing a degree of commitment to her delusions, that one only sees in the most far-gone of patients!! Well, AND theists!! To What End? People like her should NEVER be allowed to be theists! Theism should only be practiced by those who are able to admit that they could be wrong. It's fine to believe you're right, but to go beyond any and all reason, to refuse to accept that you could ever be wrong... These people are dangerous and are the types who kill abortion clinic staff, or who fly planes into buildings! They're the kind who drown their children, believing that they're doing the right thing!! The world AND its religions would all benefit MASSIVELY if priests were decent enough to refuse to minister to such people! For the benefit of everyone, theists NEED to be able to acknowledge that they might be wrong, otherwise as soon as the thought occurs to them that their kids would go straight to heaven if they killed their kids right now, they'd act on such thoughts, rather than ruminate on the possibility that they could be wrong.

Religion is a binkie, blankie, or teddy for the adult. They're too scared to say I DON'T KNOW, and their own insignificance in the chaos of the Universe. So, hence, they cling and cling and cling.

I saw a sphere UFO in 1975 that I believe was lkely ET. I have never believed it was supernatural. I can't explain where it came from, why it was here, or what it's purpose for visiting. It had three huge antennas (their function is unknown) that retracted immediately before it took off making fantastic movements (instant acceleration, instant stopping, and warp speed). If the kind of sphere craft I saw was common, I would be afraid, very afraid because of the things I saw it do. However, the craft seemed to have no personal interest im me or my brother and another person who saw it. The other person was ridiculed at work the next day because she described what she saw. She didn't know my brother and I saw it too, until my brother came to her defense by telling them he saw it too. All teasing and ridicule of the woman stopped.

I don't understand as a mother why would you try to throw your two daughters under the bus to save you that's not okay. As the parent it is your 100% responsibility to protect all of your children not just one. If you knew you're older daughters were abusing your little daughter it's your job to protect that baby you failed her by doing that you deserve to be where you are I'm so sorry but you do

I was born and raised in the same small town as James Byron Dean. And James made a comment shortly before his passing in the horrific car wreck and he said this; "If a Man can be Remembered after he dies, I mean if he can bridge the gap between life and death, then I guess he really was a great man!" In many ways the life of James Dean and SRV were similar, but I can say this; Both James Dean and Stevie Ray Vaughan were Great Men despite the fact that they had so much more to give in their given fields of Entertainment! Life is precious and it doesn't matter who or what you become but to leave behind a legacy like those 2 Men left behind will be Remembered, Respected and Enjoyed until the end of Time!
