Isaiah/Bible correlations. Study how the 66 books of the Bible relate to the 66 chapters of Isaiah: thebiblewheel.blogspot.com/2015/03/isaiah-menu.html Study the Biblewheel, how Gilgal, meaning wheel adds up to 3(Gimel)+30(Lamed)+3(Gimel)+30(Lamed)=66, and relates to passover as Joshua and Israel entered the promised land and celebrated the first passover in the land of Canaan and God rolled away the reproach of Egypt: thebiblewheel.blogspot.com/2015/02/biblewheel-menu.html

This conversation confirms what I found out about crucifixion many years ago that it was not only extreme violence but also extreme s-x--l humiliation and this is one reason why the 💀 of Jesus is not described as such in Christian literature but rather it's been supplanted by a crucifiction. But the Romans never did perform crucifictions on living persons condemned to the _crux._ As KZbinr Calpurnpiso Giraldo-Vay said in one of his videos, "You _never_ nail someone up as a god for the express purpose of torture!"

Great job, Jason, as always! I’d like to address the alleged conflict with Gal 4:6 (36:53). The “hoti” in Gal 4:6 need not be construed causally (Because you are sons…). It is better to read it as a gnoseological hoti instead. Thus, following the doctoral thesis of Silverio Zedda, one Italian Bible reads: “E che voi siete figli lo prova il fatto che Dio mandò nei nostri cuori lo Spirito del suo Figlio, il quale grida: «Abbà! Padre!»” (CEI). My translation: “And that you are children is proved by the fact that God sent into our hearts the Spirit of his Son, who cries out, 'Abba! Father!'” In other words, act (what we do) follows being (who we are). We are sons of God. And our divine sonship is clearly known because we cry out by the Spirit to our Father. That this is Paul’s understanding is clear from the more elaborated version given in Rom 8:15f. The gnoseological hoti is hardly unprecedented. For example, we readily say things like: “It has been raining for [hoti] the windows are wet;” or “It must be late for my eyes are red.” By this we mean, “We know that it has been raining because the evidence is plainly seen,” and “it is surely late because my red eyes indicate as much.” Luke 7:47 provides yet another example of the gnoseological hoti. The woman’s love is not the cause of the remission of her sins. Such a teaching would contradict the preceding parable: love for the money lender comes as the consequence of his having cancelled the debt. Obviously, the debtor’s love for the money lender did not cause the cancellation of his debt. Accordingly, v. 47 means, “It is clear that her sins are forgiven - her great love is proof of it.”

David Hebrews 7 tells us the law of Melchisedec preceeded that of Levi, who titled to Melchisedec through Abraham, the priesthood change is due to the change in law.

David many good questions, the answer of the Cross is Romans 5:13-17 and is baptism not salvation. Jesus died as a martyr so that he can judge believers.

I see a problem with a foundational assumption, for Samaritanological archaeology informs us that the majority of Ephraim was not exiled but remained in her land. Gary Knoppers et al. estimate that as much as 70% remained, and so how could they go into Asia and miscegenate?

Dont get me wrong she is helpful to clarify Some things. AS for me He is God the lord jesus christ. Image of god oka i can see that perspective. In the end...Christ is God in the flesh. I personally 'think' we have 3 gods yes but Ehad. One. There is an order in this Mystery. Father son Holy spirit 3 yet 1.

I find it interesting she had Said " I think he is God'. What about 'Believe' he is God. HUGE difference. I hope she hears about what she said. A SEROOUS response. We dont know much about Her personal understandin other than she is a common scholar. Can someone namely in academia clarify her statement..its serious for the body of christ.

There is no argument, Jesus is the Son of David. (Rom 1:3; Act 2:30; Luke 1:32; see 1 Chr 17:11). My question is how. If He is the fruit of David's loins, as Peter said, how is that possible if the central figures in His birth are God and Mary (a Levite)?

Interesting, especially when the mention of Moses hitting the rock not following YHWH’s will and it works to Elijah’s showdown with the false prophets (which I read was not YHWH’s plan but works). And it is both Moses and Elijah who appeared with Jesus during the Transfiguration.
