The local escallion of St. Elizabeth and St. Andrew is being replaced by a white scallion that is not as potent as ours. So is our irish potato, peanut, ginger and soon Marijuana as seeds bought from Canada and so is irish potato, sweet pepper/ bell pepper among other crops. Anybody who calls our people scatters are devoid of our history in which case they know notfrom whence we came, how to proceed and where we should be going. I say this without apology.

This Disapora group has Jamaica and its development at the heart of our discussions. This conference is real and represents the thoughts and feelings of most of us overseas. We want to see a better Jamaica as we want to leave a good, honest, and fair legacy for future generations. I am happy to join this group and as a true Jamaican.

Is there an aquifer along the Municipal Boulevard in Portmore? In1996 when we just came to Portmore we used to feel and look forward to reaching the drastic difference in temperature along that road as Portmore can be very hot especially during hurricane season.
