I am totally new to skincare. My skin is dry to combination. I have white heads and sebaceous filaments. Should I start using glycolic acid or salicylic acid?

Based on the description of your skin salicylic acid would be excellent as it unclogs pores of sebum and reduces its production. It can cause dryness or irritation so because you have dry skin, I’d recommend a mild salicylic acid cleanser or cleanser. Moisturise well and use sunscreen! Hope this helps!

My skin is extremely oily sensitive and dehydrated in summer or most of the time of the year and I am currently enjoying beauty of joseon’s red bean water gel even in winter its so cooling and mattifying for my skin and it even controls over oil production. Also the I’m from rice toner although it feels sticky in summer on extremely oily skin. Snail essence is THE BESTTTTTT although the snail cream doesn’t feel comfortable during summer i hate it. Instead of using a salicylic acid serum i use facewash and massage 2mins and it works wonderfully as i have acne prone skin and ONLY USE cerave SA renewing cleanser it’s the BESTTTTTT i used several bottles of it and snail essence. 💯 recommended for those with extremely oily dehydrated sweaty acne prone sensitive skin. 🙌🏻❤

This is an exfoliator and doesn't hold the power to enlarge pores overnight Dear. It actually does the opposite. And, washing it off will not provide the results it's supposed to.
